I would like to share an unpleasant experience we had on the day of our flight. We arrived at Surat Thani pier around 10:30 AM, after taking the ferry from Koh Samui. We showed the staff our sticker from the ferry and asked where the bus to the airport was. They told us the bus had already left and that the next one would only come at 12:00 PM. They warned us we might miss our flight. Then, they offered us a ride in a van to the main road for 300 THB per person, saying that from there we could catch a bus to the airport. We were worried about missing the flight, so we paid 1,200 THB for four people. To our surprise, shortly after, many people arrived who had come from the same ferry and were going to the same flight to Bangkok at 14:20. They got on a bus that came directly to the pier, without any extra payment! We asked them, and they confirmed they had the same route and flight as us. So, it’s clear that we were misled and charged for no reason. What made it more confusing is that the van we were taken in had the 12Go logo on it. Until now, we don’t really understand what happened, but it felt like we were taken advantage of. We would appreciate it if you could check this matter and clarify. Thank you.

Seamless flight. The airport has one coffee shop in it so make sure you have food before you leave. The crew were checking hand luggage bags before and after security and some people were being made to empty their bags before boarding due to the weight, which seemed like a pointless and time wasting exercise. Apart from this, it was on time and comfortable.

Hat alles super funktioniert. Fähre, Bus an Flughafen und Flug nach Bangkok. Waren erst skeptisch über nen fremdes Portal zu buchen aber ist absolut empfehlenswert. Gute Möglichkeit günstig ein Gesamtpaket zu buchen.

Staff very courteous even though we missed a few requirements. We had not paid for additional baggage weight so we needed to go to another counter to pay for that before check in. And we had forgotten and left some lithium batteries in the luggage that a polite team of security helped us find. Just leave extra time in case of problems. Everyone so polite and helpful though we don’t speak Thai and these were rookie mistakes.

No frills airline with very polite staff. Leg room is a little tight for a 6’ bloke - similar to the legroom on EasyJet/Ryanair. Both airports (DMK and Krabi) were easy to travel through.

Cheap ticket but good service for a usual short flight. But we entered stormy weather near Phuket so circled for an hour before safe landing. So kudos for safety! They should have announced the issue to the passengers though. So bad mark for that.

The email instruction from Thai Lion air specifically said that it is mandatory for me to print the e-ticket, but upon coming to the airport, it wasn't even checked. Thai Lion Air shouldn't have said that because it requires extra effort for some to look for a printer just to print!! But other than that, airline i booked was quick and efficient. Online check in together with the official Boarding pass can be done online so no hassle especially for people without baggage. Departure and arrival was on time.

Bitte unbedingt drauf achten, dass das Gepäck mitgebucht wird, sonst erlebt man eine Überraschung. Es ist halt eine Billig Airline, die verlangt für jeden Zusatz Geld. Über die Website ist das Gepäck jederzeit nachbuchbar, bis, so meine ich, 4 Stunden vor dem Flug, dann wirds teuer. Lieber vorher genau schlau machen. Ansonsten gab es keine Aufgabenstellung. Jederzeit wieder.

Der Flug wurde von der Fluggesellschaft um 3h nach vorne verlegt, dies wurde uns per email mitgeteilt. Leider konnten wir unterwegs keine Emails abrufen, somit wussten wir dies nicht. Bei der Ankunft am Check in teilte man uns mit, daß der Flug bereits gestartet wurde, und man keinen Check in mehr machen könne. Kulanterweise hat man uns von Seiten der Fluggesellschaft einen späteren Flug am selben Tag angeboten, und wir konnten kostenfrei umbuchen. Toller Service, sehr lobenswert. Somit haben wir unser Ziel, wenn auch verspätet, am selben Tag noch erreicht.
