注意：有時候不能預訂長途線路上的幾個小時內的短途一等票，因為一等票通常會為從始發站到終點站的長途旅客預留。不過，如果您只需要4到5個小時即可到達B目的地，有時候軟席二等臥鋪是一個不錯的選擇。檢查票價包含的服務內容，和水、零食、洗漱用品一樣，床單和毛巾可能會提供，也可能不會提供。盡量多帶些衣物，因為火車的空調或暖氣可能並不能滿足您的要求。

火車旅行的優點

First time travelling in India by train. Have been spoilt by train services in Thailand so wasn't sure what to expect. The booking of tickets was very easy and I was kept informed at every point. The train journey was an experience. It did arrive an hour late but we arrived at Ernakulam on time. Second class with AC was fine and had comfortable beds. It is so different travelling in India but just give it a go, its an education

Travelling by train in India has been a very enjoyable experience so far! People , even the Governmental Tourism Office Delhi, advised me against these pre-booked tickets. I had to buy a flex train pass from them. I immediately felt that in India you had to watch out anywhere and not trust anyone beforehand.

I travelled from Hospet to Margao in May 2025. The train was almost on time in departure, only 10 minutes late which is acceptable. However it was 1 hour late on destination. Train was clean, bathroom also clean but typical Indian train bathroom…. I could sleep very well.

Ticket booking with 12go was perfect. All other Indian forum's were very different. There was little to no help for tourists at the station. The train was OK. The meal is a nice touch for travellers. Again agra cantt full of scammers and no help for tourist.

The train was 3 hours late (it’s ok for India) but impossible the check the status on the Indian railway website because the train was starting the day before. In the station no indications, fortunately I downloaded an app, without this app, impossible to know where and when the train come. When the train arrived it was not the same number but it was our train 😆 So not a bad experience but we have to be ready to spend time in the station

The train was comfortable and on time. 12go asia service is good and reliable.
The only very very big issue, that brought me to give a low rate was the experience at New Delhi train station: it is very crowded, scaring and confusing for me, with people that seem to be public employees but they are not, and they will bring you to private travel agencies saying that these are the public offices for tourists information. There, they told me that my ticket was not valid because I'm a tourist (actually it's not true), that the train was cancelled or delayed (again not true) and they try to sell other travels or hotels much more expensive than the true. This unfortunately happened to me more than one time.
Be really carefull about trusting people, even the tuktuk drivers. If you need information, ask only to the personnel sitting on the counters inside the station, even there is a long queue

Well 12go lists food as part of the 1st class package however this is not true. The only reason I purchased first class was to not worry about food, but I had too. Also, the steward did not wake me up at my early morning arrival and I had to exit at the next station and try to find transport.

Difficult to find the Right information of the plataform. We were sleeping and somebody came in the middle of the night, woke up us to ask about the place.
Why If he ask before the entry in the train?

They are no longer providing pillows and blankets, so why was the air conditioning no high? With outside temperatures of 48*F, totally unnecessary. The cars were too cold to sleep. There was trash left behind in the compartments. I was never offered the meal included in my ticket. Again there were no staff on-site to help tourists. I've canceled my next 2 sleeper trains as it was not worth the money or the hassle.

Couldn't be happier as a westerner travelling on this service. Bed, even if random people were asleep on it,l when i got on, so i just hopped up to the higher bunk or went to sit between the carriages and watched the world rush by.
