Nobody met us at the ferry. We had to buy extra ferry tickets as they wouldn’t accept the ticket because we were apparently supposed to collect them a day before which makes no sense. Got to Chiquila and once again nobody was there waiting and I only managed to get hold of the driver by borrowing a strangers phone as there was no signal.

I bought a ticket from Isla Holbox to Playa del Carmen. My ticket said departure time 10.30 but it was 9.30. I had to buy a water taxi to get to the connecting van in time. Not happy.

The driver was more then 30 min late and they charged us the ferry but somehow the ferry company and the pier didn’t except it and the driver said they will send us back the difference , so as Iam still waiting for my money I guess it’s there trick to charge extra for nothing

El conductor de la van no tenía constancia de nuestra reserva. La oficina que nos tenía que dar los tickets del ferry no tenía servicio en el puerto, tuvimos que pedirlo por whatsapp. Todo un descontrol, mucho mejor hubiera sido comprar los boletos en el lugar de destino.
