Leyla KThe train was running 2 hrs behind, the only help was the RDMNS.LK app. So I at least knew it was running behind before going to the station. The instructions on the pdf were that we needed to collect the ticket from the station but the m-ticket with the qr code is all we needed and we had already printed this out beforehand. No need to be super early, 15-20 mins is plenty if you already have your ticket. Colombo fort station has a handy tourist office to help foreigners navigate the system. The train was decent, a bit bumpy and not the cleanest but decent for the price. Inspectors do their checks which is good and helpful.
