Bus stand is reasonably easy to find. Area around it is a bit dark though.
There was a surcharge of 20rs for luggage in the luggage compartment. Not too expensive, but would be nice to know about it beforehand.
Beds were about 175 cm long. So taller people might have some trouble when sleeping. Sheets were provided but a bit small for two. So ask for a second if sleeping next to someone.
Bus itself had working airconditioning and was quite smooth once you leave the city, and we arrived without technical problems at the correct destination. My main problem was with the crew that was shouting announcements, banging on the walls throughout the night and being overly stressful and hyperactive. They also keep pulling open the curtains while we were trying to sleep. They also let salespeople aboard who try to sell you stuff as well as people along the way who didn’t have a reservation. As such, the hallway was filled with people as well. So best to prepare for some lack of sleep due to staff being obnoxious.
Overall, they will get you there and the points of pick up and drop off are clear, but prepare yourself for a loud night without a lot of privacy.
The driver drove well, even though he made a few risky overtaking maneuvers. He should have informed you that the luggage would be placed on the roof of the car and used a waterproof cover (if the suitcases aren't waterproof, it’s a major problem if it rains). Upon arrival in Varanasi, some roads were closed; the driver was completely unprepared and wanted to drop us off on the street a few kilometers from the hotel, but we insisted and managed to get him to contact the hotel.
Transport that was showed on the site (minibus for 6 personen, small touristbus) was not the car we got and payed for. But we were only 2 persons so it was okay.
No one speaks English and the Phone Numbers are not working.

Such an easy transit, Agra Cannt is not a huge station so navigating our way to the platform was painless. The journey itself was comfortable and we were well fed!!!

The first class cabin was quite dirty, and the toilets were filthy. For a 14 hour first class ticket, nothing was provided - no water, no food, no tea/coffee. Not really sure how this was any better to second class.
Booked Flixbus from Agra to Varanasi on 11/08/2025. The information about the boarding point is unclear (conflicting information : location pinpointed on the highway + more precise information about another stop in front of "Petha & Dalmoth shop"). Despite several (unanswered) text messages and a phone call from our taxi driver with the bus driver, we ended up at the wrong stop --> The bus stop is at the pinpointed location, and yes it's on the middle of the highway !!
