Olika klasser och typer av bussar tillgodoser resenärernas olika behov. De billigaste resorna erbjuds normalt av bussar i standardklass. De kan kallas för lokalbussar, expressbussar eller vanliga bussar. Dessa är ett bra val för kortare resor. Sovbussar eller VIP-bussar är bra både för längre resor och resor med övernattning. De kan erbjuda sovplatser eller breda, mjuka och lutande säten, ibland med inbyggda massagealternativ, filtar, läskedrycker och snacks, eller mer omfattande måltider ombord eller vid toalett- eller tankstopp. När du reser med nattbussar kan du spara in på ett hotellrum, men för att få en så bekväm resa som möjligt bör du välja bussklass med omsorg. Fördelar med att resa med buss

  • Bussar är det bästa valet för att ta sig till destinationer som inte är anslutna med tåg eller flyg. Bussnätet täcker ofta nästan hela landet, och deras rutter är väl och sedan länge etablerade.
  • Till skillnad från flygresor och ibland tågresor behöver man inte komma till busstationen långt i förväg för att ta bussen. Incheckningen, även på internationella linjer, tar inte mycket tid. Bagagetillstånden är vanligtvis mycket resenärsvänliga, och avgiften för extra bagage, om det finns gränser, är normalt inte särskilt hög.
  • Bussbiljetter kan vara mer prisvärda jämfört med flyg- eller snabbtågsbiljetter. Det finns alltid ett urval av biljettklasser för alla plånböcker. Billigare standardalternativ kan vara lite långsamma och inte erbjuda högsta komfort, men ändå acceptabla och föra dig till din destination. På längre sträckor ingår toaletter eller toalettstopp samt snacks, vatten och ibland toalettartiklar och filtar nästan alltid i priset.
  • Om du är beredd att spendera mer pengar erbjuder vissa VIP-bussar sittplatser som är jämförbara med business class på ett flygplan med breda mjuka liggbara säten, filtar, färre passagerare och många andra förmåner för att göra din resa till en trevlig resa.

Nackdelar med att resa med buss

  • Nyare bussterminaler ligger ofta utanför staden, nära större motorvägar, så att bussarna kan undvika trafikstockningar i staden. Tyvärr kan det också skapa extra utmaningar för resenärerna. Att ta sig till en sådan terminal kan vara ett problem eftersom det på vissa destinationer finns restriktioner för vilka fordon som får köra in i terminalen, och du måste använda särskilda transportmedel för att ta dig dit. Detta leder till högre kostnader eftersom priserna kan vara uppdrivna. Räkna också med extra tid om du reser under rusningstid, särskilt om du inte är bekant med trafiksituationen vid din utgångspunkt.
  • Bussar är förmodligen det transportmedel som oftare går över tiden än tåg eller flyg. De är starkt beroende av vägsituationen som ibland kan vara oförutsägbar - olyckor, vägarbeten, omvägar osv. Detta gäller särskilt för resor under helger, högsäsong eller nationella helgdagar. Tänk på detta och planera inte för snäva anslutningar.
  • Resor på vissa sträckor eller under de mest populära perioderna kan kräva förhandsbokning. Tänk på att det inte alltid är möjligt att dyka upp på busstationen och hoppa på nästa buss - biljetterna kan mycket väl vara slutsålda, så organisera din resa därefter.

I don’t know why I have to pay for get my ticket online. I payed in the bus station only for get my ticket online and for save my suitcase. That supose to be incluided when i pay the ride.

Air con. Cheap, easy and one stop made for toilet. It was a blistering hot day, the bus was full and the bus air con wasn't on. At first stop I asked the driver and he nodded and still was the same. After 4 hours it seemed to cool down but probably more to do with the setting sun than air con kicking in. Very uncomfortable!

Horrible and disrespectful driver. The driver kept smoking inside the bus while driving, which I have never seen around the world. I told him at the customs that I have an allergy to cigarette smoke and he was pissed off that I made that request and just continued smoking inside the bus. Passengers should never have to endure such an experience on a 6 hour bus ride!!!

Long journey- Bus left on time from Podgorica - Eventually made it to Sarajevo- Bus broke down in the middle of nowhere an hour into the trip. Had to wait for a mechanic to come fix it which took an extra 2 hours. - Driver was smoking on the bus - 1 euro fee per bag stored in cargo hold.

The trip arrived an hour late because the driver took multiple unplanned stops, one for 30 minutes. We arrived alive. The driver was rude and yelled at passengers who had tickets because he didn't recognize GetByBus. He blamed passengers for delaying the trip while he took multiple stops to buy himself coca cola and smoke. Overall, a deeply unpleasant experience and a terrible introduction to Montenegro.

Sarajevo to Podgorica journey is amazing views but the roads in Bosnian side are very primal. The views were amazing. The roads on the Bosnian side. They are mountain roads not roads connecting two countries.

The ride was very unpleasant as the air conditioner worked poorly. Long trip and too hot. It was on time and arrived to Sarajevo on time. Poor air conditioner, bus could have been newer. Some of the trays werw broken, as well as air conditioner vents.

I‘d rather avoid that kind of transportation. The bus was ok, the driver was experienced. They tried to charge me for giving my backpack to the luggage (which I originally did not want to do at all) And not everyone would like the way the driver drives, but I guess it’s Balkan style.

The driver is ok, drives well & seems friendly and polite. Somehow the driver or the company takes more passengers onboard than the buses' capacity in terms of amount of seats, there are no grips or handles mounted on the bus thus you cannot stand steady while bus is on its way therefore passangers who got unlucky are forced to sit on the floor and endure embarassment and feel uncomfortable. This shouldn't be an issue in 2023 but looks like this transfer company is stuck in 20th century. Pls do smth about it.

Smooth trip with no delays. Driver was polite, we felt safe with him driving through mountain roads, one or two stops on the way for the toilet. I wish there was aircondition in the bus as it was a small one on very hot day there was barely any air inside given the bus was fully booked.

The driver made very good time and we arrived at the destination approximately 45 minutes earlier than scheduled. The seats were very close together meaning my legs would not fit comfortably in front of me as my knees would touch against the seat in front. There was no working air conditioning, that day in particular was very hot and it was uncomfortable in the bus. Also I was charged the “baggage tax” twice, once by the bus station and second by the driver. Despite the driver charging me the baggage tax, he refused to help me lift my bag out of the cargo hold.

horrible travel. Old vehicule, no place for luggage but the most important point : this bus contain 20 seats and we where 23 passengers ! It means that we travelled STAND UP for 3 Hours with the luggages in the cabin !!! The driver speaks, phones and write during he drives ! IT is a SHAME !

Tiny shuttle bus, but between two capitals. It did the job. Not enough place for luggage, for legs. Not enough seats for all people, some of them were sitting on the floor or standing. The bus broke down (that's fine, it happens) but the driver gave no info on the estimation waiting time or so. The driver didn't speak english btw. When we arrived to the intermediate station, the driver jokingly said - PODGORICA. And a couple of foreign travellers didn't get the joke and go out with all the bags. I stopped them and explained it was just a joke.

I bought an “E-TICKET” which said that I don’t need to print it and was more expensive than usual. In the station they told me that this is not valid and I need to print it but refused to do it. There was some shouting included too. Then driver arrived and told them that it’s okay to print it but need to pay extra. Why are these e tickets sold if they are not valid and causing unnecessary stress???

A trip just for jumping fans. Beautiful landscapes, good driver, one 45 minutes break in Foca. The vehicle was already a bit worn and creaking, but the road from Podgorica to Sarajevo (especially the section after the border crossing) is a misunderstanding - no asphalt and huge potholes. My private car would not have survived it.
