  • Bussar är det bästa valet för att ta sig till destinationer som inte är anslutna med tåg eller flyg. Bussnätet täcker ofta nästan hela landet, och deras rutter är väl och sedan länge etablerade.
  • Till skillnad från flygresor och ibland tågresor behöver man inte komma till busstationen långt i förväg för att ta bussen. Incheckningen, även på internationella linjer, tar inte mycket tid. Bagagetillstånden är vanligtvis mycket resenärsvänliga, och avgiften för extra bagage, om det finns gränser, är normalt inte särskilt hög.
  • Bussbiljetter kan vara mer prisvärda jämfört med flyg- eller snabbtågsbiljetter. Det finns alltid ett urval av biljettklasser för alla plånböcker. Billigare standardalternativ kan vara lite långsamma och inte erbjuda högsta komfort, men ändå acceptabla och föra dig till din destination. På längre sträckor ingår toaletter eller toalettstopp samt snacks, vatten och ibland toalettartiklar och filtar nästan alltid i priset.

  • Nyare bussterminaler ligger ofta utanför staden, nära större motorvägar, så att bussarna kan undvika trafikstockningar i staden. Tyvärr kan det också skapa extra utmaningar för resenärerna. Att ta sig till en sådan terminal kan vara ett problem eftersom det på vissa destinationer finns restriktioner för vilka fordon som får köra in i terminalen, och du måste använda särskilda transportmedel för att ta dig dit. Detta leder till högre kostnader eftersom priserna kan vara uppdrivna. Räkna också med extra tid om du reser under rusningstid, särskilt om du inte är bekant med trafiksituationen vid din utgångspunkt.
  • Bussar är förmodligen det transportmedel som oftare går över tiden än tåg eller flyg. De är starkt beroende av vägsituationen som ibland kan vara oförutsägbar - olyckor, vägarbeten, omvägar osv. It was disaster. I paid two times for one card, no refound. Your mistake, due to unreliable page. Nothing, the driver was very unkind and almost rude. Tidiness zero point. No hand sanitizer, no toilet. The driver from Rijeka to Rab was ok.

Croatia Bus - Not a representation of Croatia you would like to experience. This trip was divided into two parts - one from St to Dubrovnik and another from Dubrovnik to Ulcinj. The bus was late for about 1,30 hours and when it finally came the both of the drivers were very agitated. It didn't help that they are not speaking any foreign language, only Croatian. While boarding luggage, some people were even violently shoed away because the drivers couldn't understand them. When paying the luggage fee, on the ticket stub it was clear that the fee is 1 EURO, but the drivers were charging 2 EURO or 20 HRK (circa 2,80 EUR) for those who haven't had EURO. After we finally all set up, the drive was delayed at least 2 hours, there was no apology for the delay nor an explanation. When the drivers came to check tickets, there were verbal attacks on some of the passengers (again because of the language barrier) and loud swearing in Croatian at passengers alongside with frowning and mocking. Croatia Bus is damaging Croatian reputation as a pleasant destination.

Driver Smoking while driving!!!! Driver and conductor reserved first four seats on both aisles for their own use and did not let us sit there. And driver smoked throughout journey. A really horrible experience. I would like you to contact me back as I intend to follow up on this complaint. Have taken registration of bus.

In Korenica they left us in a non-authorized station. Bus was fine and neat. We had assigned seats when we bought our tickets which were in the last row. When we got there all of them had already been taken and there was a bed (literally a made bed with pillow and etc) occupying all the last row of the bus (about more or less 5 to 6 seats), where the guy from staff slept during the ride. Our stop was in Korenica, but they left us at a non-authorized station 20 minutes before the actual station in the city center. It was horrible because we had to walk at 1:30 am all alone through there. All buses stop there because they have some deal with the restaurante for free dinner if they stop there with the bus and people buy stuff at the store. When we got off the bus they had already taken our bags from the bus and told us it was Korenica’s station. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Most arrogant and rude drivers. The bus arrived a little late which is fine. The driver asked for 10 euros for keeping my bag inside the bus compartment. I asked if I can keep the bag over the seat because it's a small backpack. Upon hearing this he threw my bag on the road from the bus and said take another bus. Later I paid him in Kunas. There were three other girls who wanted to take the bus to split. Driver took 200 Kunas from each of them and was extremely rude. Really bad start in Croatia.

The driver was good, was able to communicate very well, trip was ok! The platform was not visible, for non Croatian people at least, we asked an arriva employee he sent us to a completely different platform, we nearly missed our bus.

Horrible wait in the dark. Waiting for the bus for more than 1 hour in the rain, in the middle of nowhere, in the dark, on a sundaynight (not high season), 2 girls alone in the woods, barely any light, bus company and getbybus were not available by phone, no information about delays. And when the bus finally came: ours seat were not available, we had to sit separately, drunks passengers in the bus laughing at us. In conclusion: never again!

Drivers are good; Leg space too tiny! Drivers nice and flexible. Leg space too tiny. Too many stops. Exchange driver should have the last row made into a lounge space with a curtain so they have some privacy when they rest/sleep.

Great overnight trip. There were only 7 passengers on the bus, we could sit and sleep where ever we like, pleasant driver. We had to wait quite long on the border because there was a large queue of the buses in front of us.

Comfortable journey across the boarder. The bus was comfortable and had good air con. The driving was good and the boarder crossing was simple. The bus was over 30 minutes late to pick us up - there was little information supplied and the bus station staff in Ljubljana were unable to help as they were not updated by the company.

The trip was delayed for almost half an hour due to the borders crossing! The bus humility was poor maybe they did not turn on the air-conditioner, we felt very uncomfortable, it was a bad experience, we decided to take a train on our way back to Zagreb on 3/9/2018.

Chewing gum stuck to tray table Broken seat No onboard toilet for an 8 hour journey Very few amenities and very uncomfortable seats for a very long over night journey Very old and worn coach, was actually a Croatia Bus that arrived Driver shouted at us in Croatian when we said we didn't understand him he then refused to speak English to us when asking where we were going, despite speaking it fluently to others Please be aware if youre not already that you will be charged extra for hold bags.

We met an interesting Croatian women who was able to translate everything the driver yelled in German for us. Bus was an hour late and then we had to wait another half hour in Ljubljana, because there was something wrong with the bus. Driver was very unkind and did not speak English.. However he was able to yell "2 euro 2 euro! Each 2, 2, 2" at us, which we had to pay extra for our lugage.

Would travel again with this bus company! The bus itself was very comfortable and spacious. There was a group traveling with this bus that did a lot of mess (snacks and crumbles) and they were really loud during the whole trip - this is not the bus company fault, however it did affect the review rate for tidiness.
