En av de bästa sakerna med bussresor är att du nästan kan skräddarsy din resa och anpassa den till dina krav på integritet och komfort. Olika klasser och typer av bussar tillgodoser resenärernas olika behov. De billigaste resorna erbjuds normalt av bussar i standardklass. De kan kallas för lokalbussar, expressbussar eller vanliga bussar. Dessa är ett bra val för kortare resor. Sovbussar eller VIP-bussar är bra både för längre resor och resor med övernattning. De kan erbjuda sovplatser eller breda, mjuka och lutande säten, ibland med inbyggda massagealternativ, filtar, läskedrycker och snacks, eller mer omfattande måltider ombord eller vid toalett- eller tankstopp. När du reser med nattbussar kan du spara in på ett hotellrum, men för att få en så bekväm resa som möjligt bör du välja bussklass med omsorg. Fördelar med att resa med buss
- Bussar är det bästa valet för att ta sig till destinationer som inte är anslutna med tåg eller flyg. Bussnätet täcker ofta nästan hela landet, och deras rutter är väl och sedan länge etablerade.
- Till skillnad från flygresor och ibland tågresor behöver man inte komma till busstationen långt i förväg för att ta bussen. Incheckningen, även på internationella linjer, tar inte mycket tid. Bagagetillstånden är vanligtvis mycket resenärsvänliga, och avgiften för extra bagage, om det finns gränser, är normalt inte särskilt hög.
- Bussbiljetter kan vara mer prisvärda jämfört med flyg- eller snabbtågsbiljetter. Det finns alltid ett urval av biljettklasser för alla plånböcker. Billigare standardalternativ kan vara lite långsamma och inte erbjuda högsta komfort, men ändå acceptabla och föra dig till din destination. På längre sträckor ingår toaletter eller toalettstopp samt snacks, vatten och ibland toalettartiklar och filtar nästan alltid i priset.
- Om du är beredd att spendera mer pengar erbjuder vissa VIP-bussar sittplatser som är jämförbara med business class på ett flygplan med breda mjuka liggbara säten, filtar, färre passagerare och många andra förmåner för att göra din resa till en trevlig resa.
Nackdelar med att resa med buss
- Nyare bussterminaler ligger ofta utanför staden, nära större motorvägar, så att bussarna kan undvika trafikstockningar i staden. Tyvärr kan det också skapa extra utmaningar för resenärerna. Att ta sig till en sådan terminal kan vara ett problem eftersom det på vissa destinationer finns restriktioner för vilka fordon som får köra in i terminalen, och du måste använda särskilda transportmedel för att ta dig dit. Detta leder till högre kostnader eftersom priserna kan vara uppdrivna. Räkna också med extra tid om du reser under rusningstid, särskilt om du inte är bekant med trafiksituationen vid din utgångspunkt.
- Bussar är förmodligen det transportmedel som oftare går över tiden än tåg eller flyg. De är starkt beroende av vägsituationen som ibland kan vara oförutsägbar - olyckor, vägarbeten, omvägar osv. Detta gäller särskilt för resor under helger, högsäsong eller nationella helgdagar. Tänk på detta och planera inte för snäva anslutningar.
- Resor på vissa sträckor eller under de mest populära perioderna kan kräva förhandsbokning. Tänk på att det inte alltid är möjligt att dyka upp på busstationen och hoppa på nästa buss - biljetterna kan mycket väl vara slutsålda, så organisera din resa därefter.

Although it had snowed and I was a little bit scared, the bus driver did an excellent job. The way he drived. He made a stop of 30 minutes in Cetinje, which was not planned. We came 30 minutes later than we were supposed to and I needed to go to the airport. I still had enough time, but I had to call my taxi driver to reschedule, because I left a gap of 15 minutes, not 30.

Not the safest. Very punctual and online booking was easy. Driver was not very friendly and took no real effort to find a way in communication between him (no English) and me (no Montenegrin). What really bothered me as I sat just behind the back of the driver is the fact that he texted and sorted his things (money and bills) while driving. This should be a total no-go.

The driver was on the phone the whole time and texting which felt very unsafe. We arrived on time. The driver wasn’t good. The trip was through small mountain roads and there were times he was just reading his phone and not even looking at the road. He also picked up extra people even though the bus was full. Viaje de Podgorica a Sarajevo. No nos gustó que en Montenegro (Podgorica) había que pagar para ir al baño y para entrar en la estación aún teniendo pagados los billetes además de pagar por las maletas a parte del billete que habíamos comprado online, además el autobús era bastante viejo y no tenía enchufes para un viaje de 6,30h, las paradas eran muy cortas para tanto tiempo de viaje y el camino es bastante turbulento y con el autobús en esas condiciones pues peor.

Bus station attendants are a bit rude, helpful but very abrupt both at Kotor and Budva. Extra costs at station, this is bit pre advised. It’s not a lot of money but if you were a back packer this would mount up and the service you get at stations are not the best. Shouting at the passengers, abrupt and rude.

Everything perfect except for the bus station. Everything except for the station. The bus station East Sarajevo is the worst experience I have had. Full of drunk men. At café Putnik they charged 3€ for a Capuccino and tried to intoxicate me. I am glad that I only took 2 sips. I recommend Getbybus to try to change the station.

There was no bus to Sarajevo at Podgorica bus-station at September 8th, 13:35 h. I was at 13:20h at the platform. Podgorica bus-station has about 12 gates. I checked them all. The official people at the platform said that the bus shall leave from gate 6. There were four or five buses to other destinations, but none on 6 and none to Sarajevo. After 13:35h the platform-officials said that the bus seems to be late. At the desk inside the building the lady said, that the bus has already gone. I waited for another two hours and then bought another ticket for the next bus leaving at 23:40h.

Sarajevo East is barely Sarajevo. Some of the scenery on this route is world class. Being dropped off a 15 minute taxi ride from Sarajevo to a bus stop with no ATM, no public transport links NLD into the city and scalping taxi drivers asking for €20. I found a local who flagged down a cab and negotiated 15 Bosnian marks (local price) for me.

Terrible experience. The driver was driving safely through the mountains on the winding roads. There was a terrible experience with boarding the bus. We had our tickets purchased on the website. Thus, we printed our tickets out. While boarding we were advised that we have to exchange our print-outs for "real" tickets in the ticketing booth at the bus station. They charged additional 2 Euros for each ticket. Besides that, we had to pay extra 2 Euros for each suitcase we put in the baggage compartment. The driver did not give us any receipts for those charges. There was no information as to when the bus will arrive, which bus is the right one for going to Podgorica, etc. The dispatcher at the Kotor bus station was not polite, yelling at the passengers. He was not answering to the questions about the bus schedule. When the bus arrived to the Kotor's bus station, we noticed that the driver was looking tired, despite the fact that he had to drive the bus through the difficult roads back to Podgorica. On top of that he smoked a cigarette inside of the passengers' cabin.

Driver not helpful. The day I was 2 Min late . I saw the Diver I was other side of the road. Diver don't stop the bus . I have pay 55 euro extra to taxi driver to catch the same bus in broder. As a tourist I expected bus driver will stop as he saw me. Next bus will next morning 11 am.not after a hour. So it was my experience. Bus driver.
