- Автобус – лучший вариант, чтобы добраться до локаций, которые не связаны жд веткой или авиасообщением. Автобусная сеть часто охватывает всю страну, а маршруты давно сформированы и обкатаны.
- В отличие от авиаперелетов и иногда – жд поездок приезжать на автостанцию сильно заранее необходимости нет. Регистрация, даже на международных автобусных рейсах, как правило, не занимает много времени. Допуски по багажу тоже весьма и весьма приятные, а если лимиты на вес багажа все-таки установлены, то доплата за перевес почти всегда совсем невысокая.
- Билеты на автобус обычно более доступны, чем билеты на самолет или скорый поезд. Разнообразие классов и тарифов ориентировано на любой кошелек. Самые дешевые варианты, возможно, не самый быстрый способ прибыть в пункт назначения, но свою работу автобусы в любом случае делают. На более длинных маршрутах есть либо туалеты в салоне, либо остановки, билет включает снеки, воду, иногда туалетные принадлежности, одеяла и прочие полезные и приятные вещи.
- Если вы готовы потратить чуть больше, то некоторые ВИПы по комфорту и обслуживанию могут вполне соперничать с бизнес-классом на самолетах: широкие мягкие раскладывающиеся кресла, одеяла, меньшее, по сравнению с обычными автобусами, число пассажиров и прочие бонусы очень скрашивают впечатления от поездки.
Минусы путешествия на автобусе
- Новые междугородние автобусные терминалы нередко расположены на окраине города у оживленных шоссе, чтобы автобусы не вставали в городские пробки. Для путешественника в этом не только плюс, но и минус. Добираться до таких терминалов бывает непросто или долго, плюс в некоторых локациях обслуживать терминалы разрешается не любому транспорту – т.е. даже некоторые службы такси туда не допускают. Как результат – спекулятивные цены на перевозку. Если нужно выезжать в часы-пик, не забывайте заложить дополнительное время на поездку.
- Автобус, наверное, вид транспорта, который наиболее подвержен задержкам и нарушению расписания – если сравнивать с самолетами или поездами. Причин может быть великое множество – от ДТП до ремонта дороги, объезда и т.д. Ситуация ухудшается в дни государственных праздников, длинные выходные, высокий сезон. Учитывайте этот момент и не планируйте коротких стыковок.
- Если вы планируете поездку по одному из наиболее востребованных маршрутов и/или в высокий сезон, стоит озаботиться заблаговременным бронированием билетов. Учитывайте, что просто прийти на автовокзал и уехать ближайшим рейсом возможно далеко не всегда: билеты вполне могут быть распроданы, так что планируйте заранее.

The van is comfortable and we arrived 1 hour before the schedule. So this was good. But the driver drove in an unsafe speed and crossed every vehicle in the road. I was a really afraid of something bad happen. The van stopped every 1 hour to buy snacks/toilet and 1 stop to lunch that took around 30min

Arrived nearly an hour early. 30 minute stop halfway for food/drinks. Fast driver but always felt safe as he probably does the journey a number of times a week. Minibus was as comfortable as you would expect and I think definitely better than the coach option.

Good experience. The driver was safe and nice. We stopped 3 times, 2 short toilet breaks and 1 lunch break. The bus left on time and arrived in 5 1/2 hours. I made the mistake of picking the back seats, they are the least comfortable - but the other seats look comfy.

Arrived on time at 15:3 to find our bus had been cancelled. They said they it only had 2 passengers so wanted to put us on the next bus leaving at 16:30 instead.
This wasn’t an issue for us on this occasion but if there had been a tight schedule may have been difficult.

Ich hatte über einen Internet-Anbieter für zwei Personen gebucht, der Check In war kein Problem. Der Fahrer war zügig unterwegs, dabei aber immer sehr vorausschauend. Wir haben uns durchgehend gut aufgehoben gefühlt.
Für Beine und Gepäck war ausreichend Raum. Für gute Kühlung sorgte die funktionierende Klimaanlage. Uns wurden zwei kleine Flaschen Wasser für die Reise die in die Hand gedrückt, was sehr freundlich und nützlich war. Mein Fazit: Sehr zu empfehlen.

The bus left very punctually, was clean and since there were not many people on the bus, there was plenty of room. The driver drove a bit wild, but we also arrived 45 minutes early. On the way we stopped twice for toilet breaks and snacks/lunch.

Getting the 6.30am bus on a Monday morning was bliss! Only 3 passengers to 12 seats in the minivan, therefore i could stretch out across 4 seats and sleep we stopped 3 times to get food and use the toilet. We arrived before schedule aswell! A great journey considering the cost. 10/10!

The minibus was clean and the seats were comfortable. We arrived to Phnom Penh early but it never felt like we were driving too fast or unsafe. Made two stops along the way: lunch+bathroom. At first the AC was working too strong so recommend to take a long sleeve with you so that you’re not cold

The bus ride was good and fast. It was a quiet journey as everyone was on their smartphone. I wish the roads were better because it was sometimes hard to predict what the traffic was going to do. I would recommend this mode of transport anytime.

It was a pretty comfortable ride from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, and it was neat to see the country which otherwise wouldn't have if taken a flight. The description of the minivan was a bit fuzzy but pleasant ride and quick.

We did get in early but we had the back row seats. They had put bags and boxes under the seats and on the floor in our row.. We had no place to put our feet. We are also not tall. Luckily we did not have anyone beside us so we got 4 seats for 2 people. Everytime we got out, we had to climb over bags to get out. It seems the bus was more of a delivery bus that passager

Minivan état neuf pour un voyage rapide certes parti en retard de 15 minutes mais avec un bon chauffeur et des arrêts rapides en avance de 45 minutes sur l’horaire. J’ai oublié mon sweat dans le van, est appelé directement la compagnie qui m’organisai de me le mettre a disposition dès le lendemain bravo. Je reutiliserai sans soucis cette compagnie

We were squished in the last row. There isn’t room for 4 people with moderate shoulders... but if you book any other seat it should be fine. The A/C was on but could’ve been stronger as we were a bit sweaty still

As our flight landed at around 4 pm, we had to find a bus to Siem Reap at around 5 pm. Hence we took the Seila Express, and of course with the reviews we went with some doubts already about the service quality. However, the trip was surprisingly pleasant. We were in a minivan and we were given the front seats which we reserved. We also managed to reach Siem Reap at 10 pm, way faster than the approximated time, which was supposed to be 11 pm. The minivan was airconned at all times, and we were given two breaks along the journey. Make sure to eat first before the journey if you don't want to spend an exorbitant amount of money on the restaurants which of course overcharges for tourists. The bus driver did speed up to uncomfortable speeds at some times, but as an Indonesian I am used to it. Thank you Seila for the safe and quick journey.

The driver was sullen and uncommunicative.
He had absolutely no effort to communicate. As an example: when we stopped for lunch, he pulled over, got out and walked off ( to buy his lunch) he said nothing at all. never explained what was happening,never gave us a heads up that we had a 30 minute stop.
He just got out, walked off and left a bus full of puzzled and confused people

Decent ride. All good. Only suggesting is to show the starting point before booking. In siem reap I could only find out where to start from the confirmation. But therefore we had a super super driver. We was overtaking cars in a very convinient matter. No harsh braking, nor honking *****

We arrived for the 1030am bus and we were told we had to wait till 1130am as no one else booked the original bus we had selected. Left 10 mins behind schedule but arrived an hour earlier than expected. Receptionist and driver were nice.
