Если выбирать ночные автобусы, то можно сэкономить на стоимости комнаты в отеле, но тут стоит выбирать правильный класс автобуса, чтобы провести ночь с максимальным комфортом. Плюсы путешествия на автобусе
- Автобус – лучший вариант, чтобы добраться до локаций, которые не связаны жд веткой или авиасообщением. Автобусная сеть часто охватывает всю страну, а маршруты давно сформированы и обкатаны.
- В отличие от авиаперелетов и иногда – жд поездок приезжать на автостанцию сильно заранее необходимости нет. Регистрация, даже на международных автобусных рейсах, как правило, не занимает много времени. Допуски по багажу тоже весьма и весьма приятные, а если лимиты на вес багажа все-таки установлены, то доплата за перевес почти всегда совсем невысокая.
- Билеты на автобус обычно более доступны, чем билеты на самолет или скорый поезд. Разнообразие классов и тарифов ориентировано на любой кошелек. Самые дешевые варианты, возможно, не самый быстрый способ прибыть в пункт назначения, но свою работу автобусы в любом случае делают. На более длинных маршрутах есть либо туалеты в салоне, либо остановки, билет включает снеки, воду, иногда туалетные принадлежности, одеяла и прочие полезные и приятные вещи.
- Если вы готовы потратить чуть больше, то некоторые ВИПы по комфорту и обслуживанию могут вполне соперничать с бизнес-классом на самолетах: широкие мягкие раскладывающиеся кресла, одеяла, меньшее, по сравнению с обычными автобусами, число пассажиров и прочие бонусы очень скрашивают впечатления от поездки.
Минусы путешествия на автобусе
- Новые междугородние автобусные терминалы нередко расположены на окраине города у оживленных шоссе, чтобы автобусы не вставали в городские пробки. Для путешественника в этом не только плюс, но и минус. Добираться до таких терминалов бывает непросто или долго, плюс в некоторых локациях обслуживать терминалы разрешается не любому транспорту – т.е. даже некоторые службы такси туда не допускают. Как результат – спекулятивные цены на перевозку. Если нужно выезжать в часы-пик, не забывайте заложить дополнительное время на поездку.
- Автобус, наверное, вид транспорта, который наиболее подвержен задержкам и нарушению расписания – если сравнивать с самолетами или поездами. Причин может быть великое множество – от ДТП до ремонта дороги, объезда и т.д. Ситуация ухудшается в дни государственных праздников, длинные выходные, высокий сезон. Учитывайте этот момент и не планируйте коротких стыковок.
- Если вы планируете поездку по одному из наиболее востребованных маршрутов и/или в высокий сезон, стоит озаботиться заблаговременным бронированием билетов. Учитывайте, что просто прийти на автовокзал и уехать ближайшим рейсом возможно далеко не всегда: билеты вполне могут быть распроданы, так что планируйте заранее.

Alles voller Kakerlaken und Käfer, die Sitze waren unbequem und der Fahrer fährt so schnell um die Kurve, dass man nach jeder Kurve aufwacht :D Trotzdem eine schnelle und günstige Alternative. Nehmt besser einen anderen Busanbieter, der so blaue Sessel hat. Dort war es super :)

The bus in general is comfy, the seats were wide with thick cushions. My bus was a 2 1 set up so good for a solo travel can have a seat for yourself. The seats recline. The only bad thing is the connections are rubbish most people who travel from penang are heading to the perhentian islands and the last ferry is at 5pm. We were late by 45mins so missed the last ferry. So better bus times would be better even if it left an 1hr earlier. The late bus is also no good because it gets you in at 4am and the first ferry is not until 8am.

One of the driver was really nice! He asked us where we come from and talked to us a bit. Seats are comfortable. Just at the end another driver put the air condition to 18.5 degrees...we thought that we will freeze... we were just waiting to leave the bus!

Driver didn’t reduce speed when it was raining. Comfortable seats. You could connect to WiFi but was slow. Would be good idea to give some blankets. Arrive to destination on time.

Bus did not have wifi even though we payed for a bus ride with wifi! All the other buses at the bus station offered wifi. Bus driver does not speak english. The ride took 9 1/2 hours instead of 8.

The driver switched off the Wi-Fi just when we started the trip from Kuala Besut, and when I asked him to switch Wi-Fi on, he said we don't have Wi-Fi with a big smile.
I have booked with your company and paid extra fee to have a convenient journey with you, but being deprived from what you promised is not a good attitude from your staff.
At least warn them not to lie !!

Our coach left half an hour after the time on the ticket (despite the coach being at the station ready?) and we arrived 2 hours late. Apart from that, the WiFi was good on the bus and we had comfortable seats - the driver was friendly

The best ride ever. It was smooth and very comfortable. The seats' massaging was incredible. The space and how modulable the seat was were awesome. I could easily sleep without feeling any kind of ache or tiredness at the end of the travel.

The bus was completely full, so people don't stop to move in all the stops we had. It also stopped so much, and the driver was crazy!! He drove very very fast and it was so difficult to get some sleep.
Also, I thought the last stop would be Kuala Lumpur, but I got surprised when, finally, I achieved to sleep for a while, they didn't say anything and when I woke up we already left from kuala Lumpur and we were going down. Lucky I had data in my phone to check Google maps.
So I've ran to the driver and told him to stop, or ask him if we is returning because they didn't say anything about Kuala Lumpur stop. But he keep driving and told me, next stop 30 minutes to the south, and we already were like 50km from Kuala Lumpur... I was so angry and I had to beg him to stop because I couldn't go even more far... Was my first experience and I think my last too..

The driver seems to do a race and arrived 90 minutes earlier in KL. At every stop no matter which time he turns on the lights immediately. The WiFi didn't work and some of the charge places too.

There was supposed to be a USB port, Wi-Fi, and quality suspensions, but there was nothing, especially the suspensions. We made a 45-minute stop at 1:30 for not much... plus the driver was driving very fast, so instead of arriving after 7 a.m., we arrived around 5:20 a.m. So we waited at the bus station having had little sleep.

Paid extra for special service which I didn't get. Missed my stop at KL as we reached there 2 hours earlier and I was sleeping.
Had to take a taxi back to KL.

Der Bus ist pünktlich abgefahren und war auch sehr bequem. Netter Fahrer, allerdings waren wir 2h vorher am Ziel, als geplant. Was etwas ungeschickt war, da wir nach Kuala Besut gefahren sind, um mit der Fähre auf die Insel zu kommen und die erste Fähre geht erst um 7 Uhr

Bus von Kota Bharu nach Butterworth, Abfahrt war geplant um 13 Uhr, diese war dann 13.30 Uhr
Nach 4,5h Fahrt gab es endlich eine Pause, leider an einem Stopp der mehr als eklig war, das angebotene Essen dort war eine Frechheit, es lag sicher den ganzen Tag schon dort, überall Fliegen und die Katze lief auch noch drüber, die Toiletten wurden gefühlt noch nie geputzt, also wirklich abartig. Ich hab in Asien schon viel erlebt und gesehen , aber das übertraf alles.
Pause war dort 45 Minuten, wir haben dort Nix gegessen, und waren froh als es weiterging.
Angekommen am Sentral Bahnhof in Penang sind wir dann um 21 Uhr, der Busfahrer war anfangs noch nett, bei Ankunft jedoch war er angepisst und scheuchte uns aus dem Bus.
Das einzig positive auf dieser Fahrt: Bus war neu , sehr breite Sitze mit Massagefunktion, sauber und bequem.
