Автобусы-слиперы (спальные, ночные) или VIP хороши для длинных и ночных переездов. Такие автобусы могут быть оснащены более широкими мягкими раскладывающимися креслами, иногда с функцией массажа, или спальными полками; билет может включать одеяла, безалкогольные напитки, снеки или более плотную еду прямо на борту либо в кафе во время остановок на размять ноги, сходить в туалет или заправиться. Если выбирать ночные автобусы, то можно сэкономить на стоимости комнаты в отеле, но тут стоит выбирать правильный класс автобуса, чтобы провести ночь с максимальным комфортом. Порой даже для не самых длинных поездок стоит заплатить чуть больше за VIP, потому как на некоторых маршрутам ВИПы идут порой в два раза быстрее обычных автобусов.

Плюсы путешествия на автобусе
- Автобус – лучший вариант, чтобы добраться до локаций, которые не связаны жд веткой или авиасообщением. Автобусная сеть часто охватывает всю страну, а маршруты давно сформированы и обкатаны.
- В отличие от авиаперелетов и иногда – жд поездок приезжать на автостанцию сильно заранее необходимости нет. Регистрация, даже на международных автобусных рейсах, как правило, не занимает много времени. Допуски по багажу тоже весьма и весьма приятные, а если лимиты на вес багажа все-таки установлены, то доплата за перевес почти всегда совсем невысокая.
- Билеты на автобус обычно более доступны, чем билеты на самолет или скорый поезд. Разнообразие классов и тарифов ориентировано на любой кошелек. Самые дешевые варианты, возможно, не самый быстрый способ прибыть в пункт назначения, но свою работу автобусы в любом случае делают. На более длинных маршрутах есть либо туалеты в салоне, либо остановки, билет включает снеки, воду, иногда туалетные принадлежности, одеяла и прочие полезные и приятные вещи.
- Если вы готовы потратить чуть больше, то некоторые ВИПы по комфорту и обслуживанию могут вполне соперничать с бизнес-классом на самолетах: широкие мягкие раскладывающиеся кресла, одеяла, меньшее, по сравнению с обычными автобусами, число пассажиров и прочие бонусы очень скрашивают впечатления от поездки.
Минусы путешествия на автобусе
- Новые междугородние автобусные терминалы нередко расположены на окраине города у оживленных шоссе, чтобы автобусы не вставали в городские пробки. Для путешественника в этом не только плюс, но и минус. Добираться до таких терминалов бывает непросто или долго, плюс в некоторых локациях обслуживать терминалы разрешается не любому транспорту – т.е. даже некоторые службы такси туда не допускают. Как результат – спекулятивные цены на перевозку. Если нужно выезжать в часы-пик, не забывайте заложить дополнительное время на поездку.
- Автобус, наверное, вид транспорта, который наиболее подвержен задержкам и нарушению расписания – если сравнивать с самолетами или поездами. Причин может быть великое множество – от ДТП до ремонта дороги, объезда и т.д. Ситуация ухудшается в дни государственных праздников, длинные выходные, высокий сезон. Учитывайте этот момент и не планируйте коротких стыковок.
- Если вы планируете поездку по одному из наиболее востребованных маршрутов и/или в высокий сезон, стоит озаботиться заблаговременным бронированием билетов. Учитывайте, что просто прийти на автовокзал и уехать ближайшим рейсом возможно далеко не всегда: билеты вполне могут быть распроданы, так что планируйте заранее.

The bus gets you from a to B, it gets you there on time, but it’s hot and there is no decent air-conditioning. It’s also a bit noisy with kids playing their music out loud and no one saying anything.
But as a budget way of travelling it definitely gets you where you need to go, albeit not in style.

The bus was not very clean. When we tried to disembark we were practically mobbed by the next lot wanting to get on. We had to climb out on the driver's side.
On arrival staff were very friendly and helpful.

Process is confusing for foreigners, obviously normal for locals. Overall the service exceeded our low expectations so not so bad. Arrived on time.

Cheap but confusing. The bus left much later and took much longer than announced. Luggage had to be paid extra in cash even though it said that it was included on the ticket. Also there was no AC but luckily it wasn’t a hot day. All together I’d still do it again as the value for money was acceptable!

It was a horrible experience, it took longer than specified, it was smelly, no comfort breaks and no air con, the ceiling panel also broke, so no air circulating.

The directions to the departure location were very unclear. The bus did not have air conditioning. My luggage was placed where sheep had been transported! It wasn't clear that any luggage you had would have an extra charge. And the bus left about 40 minutes late!
Fortunately there were many kind people who helped me. And I was thankful to have the ride on what turned out to be a very busy travel day

No issues with bus or driver. We had a 10 minute convenience stop half way through the 3 hour trip. All good. Gets you from A to B.

The company simply put us in a local bus even if the correct bus was there at the station. I assume they didn't have enough bookings and put their guests into other busses. There were no reserved seat numbers and the AC didn't work.

Do not take anything other than Supratour! Booked a different operator by mistake and regretted it a lot. Supra was efficient, clean and made one lovely stop as opposed to this bus which made at least 10 stops on the way picking up and dropping people off ...

I don't know if in the station workers put us in a different bus (Voyage Farah), but the service was very poor. Firstly, we start moving at 16:35 instead of at 16:00 and we stop at mostly every country that was on the way to Marrakech, leaving and picking up different people, but the travel was not direct. The bus itself was old inside, with the seats broken and moving.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this trip was full of unpleasant surprises. To be brief, the outbound journey was great; the bus was clean and the crew friendly. During the break along the way, they clearly told us it was a break. However, on the return trip, I don't know which company it was, but the bus was dirty and in poor condition. That wasn't a big deal, though; it was the smell that was unpleasant—a mixture of diesel and vomit! In short, a journey where we felt nauseous the entire time, with very frequent stops to pick up other passengers until they were all crammed into the aisle. Obviously, we arrived an hour late! So, I'm very disappointed, as are my companions.

Poor bus experience but at least we made it. Luggage is not included so expect to pay 5MAD per luggage.
The bus has clearly never been washed or cleaned since 1992, it’s so dusty and dirty. The seats aren’t comfortable, the driver was very slow so it took 4h instead of 3.

A three -hour journey took four hours, largely due to all the stops picking up locals, who then stood on the aisles and/or played loud music on their phones. I should have paid a bit extra and gone with Sipratours!

The pick up point is not at the station road of Marrakesh. The official travel guide at the bus station pushed 4 people of us to the back pf a small cab, and charged us 50Dh for catching the bus for us at another station. But the fact was we arrived 15 minutes before at the Station Road of Marrakesh as stated on the ticket purchased online.
The bus was so dirty as if it wasn’t cleaned for 30 years.

Buss departed on time, but service providers work messy- it is not clear where to go, what to register, etc - especially if you speak only english.
Nobody mention, but buss pick up a lot of people on the road- that makes buss as a marketplace, it drives with open doors through all city and somebody from buss stairs calls everybody on the road to jump in. They sell more tickets as they have seats, because after picking everybody - some late jumpers did not have place to sit. AC is old style = open windows. Buss - outdated. Arrival is unpredictable- in our case roadtime from Essaoueira to Marrakesh was 3:40 h. Yes, we arrived, yes- cheap. Do I reccomend? - No!

Went to the wrong bus terminal initially - thought I was booking with Supratours but ended up with a different company, so take care to check. Bus driver was a chancer who was trying to get people to pay extra for their baggage which was included! The bus itself was a bit cramped but bearable and got me to Mogador.
