Плюсы путешествия на автобусе
- Автобус – лучший вариант, чтобы добраться до локаций, которые не связаны жд веткой или авиасообщением. Автобусная сеть часто охватывает всю страну, а маршруты давно сформированы и обкатаны.
- В отличие от авиаперелетов и иногда – жд поездок приезжать на автостанцию сильно заранее необходимости нет. Регистрация, даже на международных автобусных рейсах, как правило, не занимает много времени. Допуски по багажу тоже весьма и весьма приятные, а если лимиты на вес багажа все-таки установлены, то доплата за перевес почти всегда совсем невысокая.
- Билеты на автобус обычно более доступны, чем билеты на самолет или скорый поезд. Разнообразие классов и тарифов ориентировано на любой кошелек. Самые дешевые варианты, возможно, не самый быстрый способ прибыть в пункт назначения, но свою работу автобусы в любом случае делают. На более длинных маршрутах есть либо туалеты в салоне, либо остановки, билет включает снеки, воду, иногда туалетные принадлежности, одеяла и прочие полезные и приятные вещи.
- Если вы готовы потратить чуть больше, то некоторые ВИПы по комфорту и обслуживанию могут вполне соперничать с бизнес-классом на самолетах: широкие мягкие раскладывающиеся кресла, одеяла, меньшее, по сравнению с обычными автобусами, число пассажиров и прочие бонусы очень скрашивают впечатления от поездки.
Минусы путешествия на автобусе
- Новые междугородние автобусные терминалы нередко расположены на окраине города у оживленных шоссе, чтобы автобусы не вставали в городские пробки. Для путешественника в этом не только плюс, но и минус. Добираться до таких терминалов бывает непросто или долго, плюс в некоторых локациях обслуживать терминалы разрешается не любому транспорту – т.е. даже некоторые службы такси туда не допускают. Как результат – спекулятивные цены на перевозку. Если нужно выезжать в часы-пик, не забывайте заложить дополнительное время на поездку.
- Автобус, наверное, вид транспорта, который наиболее подвержен задержкам и нарушению расписания – если сравнивать с самолетами или поездами. Причин может быть великое множество – от ДТП до ремонта дороги, объезда и т.д. Ситуация ухудшается в дни государственных праздников, длинные выходные, высокий сезон. Учитывайте этот момент и не планируйте коротких стыковок.
- Если вы планируете поездку по одному из наиболее востребованных маршрутов и/или в высокий сезон, стоит озаботиться заблаговременным бронированием билетов. Учитывайте, что просто прийти на автовокзал и уехать ближайшим рейсом возможно далеко не всегда: билеты вполне могут быть распроданы, так что планируйте заранее.

I did not expect the bus to be on time as stated on the site this bus was 2.5 hrs late which is just way too long. While the seats were comfortable the bus was not very clean and I saw a cockroach by where I was resting my head on the window.

The journey from KL to Melaka was supposed to be 2h12min, but the bus departed from KL more than 2 hours late. There was no communication on this at any point and no apologies. Overall it meant most of the day lost to what should have been a quite short journey.
The bus seats were comfortable but there were no seatbelts after the 1st row. During the journey, the bus driver answered his phone and had a call with the phone by his ear, while driving the bus quite fast.

Extremely dangerous driver in bus from Melaka Sentral to Kuala Lumpur TBS on January 28th 2024, 21:00 hours trip.
I think he was even drunk.
Driver was talking all the trip using headphones and doing group video call.
I even told him several times to stop, as everybody was looking at him and feeling unsafe.
He told me ok (impolitely) and just kept talking. He even started yelling at me when the trip ended. He shouted: “complain complain!” while laughing.
Incredible this can happen when someone is responsible of 20 people lives.
I have reported this to the company, but they don’t seem concerned.
I really encourage you not to use this company. And I really encourage 12goAsia not to work with this company.
Just look all the bad reviews here and in Google.

Delayed by an hour with no notice... this didn't bother me as much as the replacement vehicle was below the standard I had booked. No electric sockets, no WiFi and 4 seats per row not 3. The replacement vehicle also made mechanical grinding noises like it needed repairing and it was crowded.

War alles super. Bus war ca 10 Minuten verspätet am Terminal, war aber super, da ich selbst auch recht knapp dran war.
Wer von Kuala Lumpur los fährt, sollte wirklich mindestens die vorgegebenen 30 Minuten früher da sein. Es waren extrems lange Schlangen an den Schaltern. Vielleicht lag es aber auch darsn, dass es ein Sonntag war. Ansonsten war die Busfahrt normal. Sitze waren bequem und mit ausreichend Bein Freiheit.

We bought the ticket online and at the station we got a physical ticket. With that one, we were able to enter the gate area. The bus left Melaka on time and was nice and comfy. We arrived 20 min early in KL, so we had a really good experience.

Luckily I asked the hostess about the departure time when she answered me the bus was about to leave !!!!

The bus was not the one advertised, it was supposed to be a VIP coach with only 3 seats across, but this bus was an old bus with 4 seats which meant the seat reservations were not enforced. The coach driver only stopped for a comfort break after requested more than 3 hours in to the journey, then tried to drive off before 4 people had returned

The bus was fine. A lot of legroom and space. But it was freezing cold could not feel my fingers by the end of the trip. And the bus was 3h late at thr bus terminal.

The driver smoked on the bus several times, the smell was all over the cabin, he drove aggressively and signaled to others. Stopped and went to the toilet, did not announce the parking lot to anyone. The only plus is the arrival on time and a good bus. Need to educate staff.
It is very convenient that you can pay for the ticket at the 7 eleven store. At bus station you need to print the ticket with the booking number from the cashier, they took a commission of 1.4 rm

But, the app is sometimes not working. In read of 40RM it says 40Euro which isc5 times the normal price. You cant change the emailadress (when you want someone who has wifi to get the voucher). NO WIFI in Bus !!!! (You are advertizing with it)

Bus was fine, good standard, 2-2 configuration, clean. The problem was with the driver who I perceived as quite unprofessional. He had two hands on the steering wheel less than 10% of the time. He was mostly just leaning on it with his elbow, sometimes
not holding on to it at all. At one point, he was sorting receipts while going at full speed at the highway. He looked quite bored or maybe tired and we didn't really feel safe.
