Особенно ценно, что можно забронировать билеты заранее, если путешествие выпадает на высокий сезон, дни государственных праздников и длинные выходные, когда спрос на билеты возрастает кратно, а количество судов, обслуживающих маршрут, остается неизменным.

Дождь, шторм, высокая волна могут сильно нарушить ваши трэвел-планы, так что постарайтесь строить их гибко и, конечно, не планировать коротких стыковок, если предполагаете после парома успеть на самолет – впрочем, эта рекомендация актуальна для любого сезона, в т.ч. и сезона отличной погоды.

Ничего не сообщили о времени трансфера от отеля до пирса. Я не смог получить никакой информации ни по одному из указанных телефонов. Чтобы не опоздать на катер, ожидая возле отеля непонятно кого и непонятно когда, пришлось нанимать тук-тук. Было бы неплохо, если бы сервис вернул мне эти излишне потраченные деньги...

Über 1h Verspätung. Gebucht hatten wir eine direkte Verbindung, doch es wurde an 4 Inseln gehalten, sodass wir statt um 13:30 erst um 15 Uhr ankamen. Teilweise sind mehr Leute hinzugestiegen, als Plätze vorhanden waren.

Reis begon voorspoedig met de boot, daarna onduidelijk waar over te stappen op de bus. Hier lang stil gestaan en veel gedoe met mensen wisselen tussen busjes. In Krabi weer over moeten stappen en toen weinig tot geen info gekregen.
Beenruimte was in de busjes erg minimaal. 45 minuten vertraging op de hele dag, viel mee maar voelde onnodig door de vele stops die t tweede busje maakte.

Very pleasant boarding in Langkawi. The upstairs office could pose difficulties for those solo travellers with large luggage.
It would be great if the 12Go booking offered the VIP- we would have splurged (although maybe it was sold out- we booked pretty last minute)
We are confused as to why our passports were collected and kept for the voyage- only to line up to retrieve it in Koh Lipe, and then get in the immigration line. Seems like a step could be saved if passengers were allowed to be responsible for their own documents, as they would on a plane or bus.

Excellent. The driver contacted me on messenger to unsure the hotel adress is right and told me the exact pick-up time. He drove safely, showed us the “check-in desk” at the pier. At the pier everybody was smiling and explained everything. They run across the pier to be sure nobody will miss departure. Speed boat was comfortable and fast. We arrived 1 hour 30

The Phuket-Ko Lanta boat was small and jumpy, but half loaded and thus comfortable. The Ko Lanta-Ko Lipe boat was overcrowded. So called “four seats” benches can seat three people OK, but the fourth person half seats and half hangs in the aisle, killing the back after an hour of such a trip. Overwise boat was good and ran on schedule.

It’s worth doing your research on the conditions. On this day the waves weren’t high (forecast at 0.3m) and the speedboat was absolutely fine to do the 1h30 crossing from Phuket to Koh Lanta. The boat was about 30/40 mins late but nothing major. Check in was easy and good service.

Ferry was almost on time. That was nice since I’ve learned during my trip that ferrys, busses etc in south east asia are rarely on time. It was super cold inside the ferry! It felt like ac was blowing cold air straight from north pole… Also arrival to ko lipe wasn’t that well organised.

Rassada Pier to Koh Lipe. First timers here. They got us to our destination on time, but do not expect a full size ferry nor for it to be a non-stop service. Speed boats are rough, hot and not designed for comfort. Original booking does not mention possible stops like Phi Phi and Lanta. Piers or docks at smaller islands are not safe nor designed for passengers with limited mobility. Fortunately the crew boys take care of loading and unloading your larger bags. Lots of warning signs under the ratings and they’re all valid. Ready them and you will get an idea of what to expect. If it’s a windy day with rough seas get ready for a s***show.
Before you depart…
Search google for how to overcome/prepare for seasickness. (Ear plug, wrist pressure points, meds or whatever might work for you.)
Bring a bunch of plastic bags (for seasickness)
Bring wet wipes for your dirty face after you become sick.
Bring extra supplies to help other passengers trust me it’s for everyone’s benefit.
Go buy as much patience as you can you will need it.

Überfahrt mit Speedboot war sehr schnell ,aber extrem laut. Ohrenstöpsel sind zu empfehlen. Würde es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Быстро и вовремя. Приехали на пирс на машине (за шлагбаумом хорошая большая парковка, 100 бат сутки). Зарегистрировались, нам дали наклейки. Отплыли за 10 мин до времени, видимо, уже все собрались. До Пхи пхи плыли 40 минут

Te dicen que estés al menos 30 min antes de la salida y te dejan esperando hasta la hora de salida, así que salimos 15 min tarde. Luego el Speedboat iba muy rápido, y se movía demasiado.

We waren heel snel in Phi Phi Islands. Heel vriendelijk geholpen met de bagage en inchecken. Het water was redelijk ruig. We gingen met een kind van 1.5 jaar. Misschien was het iets t3 4u

Heaven & Hell.
Phi Phi islands are heaven, these boats are hell.. fast, yes but this comes at a price..
This was the last boat back at 4pm. It was packed with ~50 people on board including staff + 10-15 pieces of sizeable luggage.. One of the workers (an older guy) who seemed to be packing people onto the boat felt it necessary to shout and be rude to the paying guests. Guests had to ask him to not shout aggressively because of children on board. It got quite heated, was unnecessary and made the guests feel like second class citizens, which is why I have scored this 2 stars..
this felt overloaded for the size of craft. It was not clear what the the maximum number was, normally I would expect this to be written somewhere. Thankfully the weather was perfect so the crossing was no problem.
These boats are fast travelling around 55 kilometres/hour and very noisy. If you can bring ear plugs or noise cancelling earplugs it is advisable.

Got ripped off at saladan pier when we were all thrown into the back of open back trucks and demanded another 900 bhat to take us 25 minutes up the road. We negotiated down to 600 as our hotel was closer than they said it was but the end experience was very poor. The pier just down from the saladan pier has many taxis but they purposely do not stop there so that you are forced to pay their fee. We have taken many taxi’s in Thailand and this was hugely expensive and not worth the cost. Very uncomfortable journey.

I booked the night before, got instant confirmation, and the pickup was super easy and on time. The drive from Patong was comfortable in the AC and the speedboat was the best boat I have ever taken to phi phi - way better than the ferries.

Got there safe but the driving at times was horrendous and he crashed into the pier at phi phi. When deloading the bags they also dropped some into the water it was crazy to see! Thankfully our trip was safe though. Also we were meant to leave an hour before we actually left, defeating the object of getting the speedboat! The 2 people on the desk kept saying 10 minutes, 10 minutes etc when we asked where it was, leaving us sweltering in the heat with nowhere to wait.

Booked to the last seat, had to make extra space for people to sit... The seats could have been a little more comfy, but that's just 'luxus problems'.
Since everyone wanted to go to Lipe we made no stops and arrived before time. Including the pick-up is a plus, when you look at the cost of transportation on Lanta...

All good. Quick and easy. Pick up on time. However the car/truck that picked us up from the hotel was a bit small. It was a short ride for us but we had to squeeze in to fit all people.

Travelled from Koh Lanta to Koh Lipe with Bundhaya speedboat and the journey went smoothly. As there were enough people going to Koh Lipe, the boat went directly there (so no stops at Koh Ngai/Kradden/Bulone) so we arrived 30 mins early.

We booked the ride at short notice but still managed to get a confirmation, which was highly appreciated. We followed the booking with a phone call in the morning and spoke to a friendly staff. The transfer to the pier was pleasant and the checkin process when we got there was highly efficient. The only downside of the speed boat is that water gets into the boat so the people and bags towards the back get wet

Overall top. Although the luggage was on the second boat. So we had to wait over 15 minutes. Is your luggage on your ship is therefore a big question mark.

We went from Phuket to Phi Phi. All the way to Phi Phi the ride was really bumpy. Back to Phuket it was easier and not that much waves.
