Driver 1.5hrs late and made up excuse about traffic in Dambulla. We drove through Dambulla shortly after and there was no such traffic. The taxi company were unresponsive on WhatsApp until asked the same question 4-5 times, though were constantly showing as online while I was messaging. Did not answer any of my phone calls. Driver then proceeded to make loud speaker phone calls throughout the journey.

Driver was on time. Everything great, except for the driver had to use OUR smartphones for Google maps to find the locations. The driver should have his own navigation or should check beforehand where to go.

The trip was smooth and surprisingly for shared transport they asked for pick up location and drop off place. Before the trip they contacted us on WhatsApp confirming trip and offering other services and trips, nice, kind and professional. They picked us up from the hotel, but in Kandy the driver told us he will drop us only in the city center even though the reservation confirmation said something else about drop off point. Not a big deal as you can take a Tuktuk to get to the hotel. When I asked the person on WhatsApp they from nice and helpful became rude and offensive which left me with very unpleasant impression about their service. Other passengers were surprised as well so it’s not only my understanding of the transportation we booked. Even though I am fully aware what shared transportation means, they misinformed us and they just said “it is what it is”. The driver was great and drove safely, that’s why I am giving two stars not one. The van is pretty small, not much space.
