The day started out great. We had seats at the front of the bus with generous leg room - only around 5 of us on the bus. The bus soon filled up as they picked people up from random spots. Unfortunately we had to spend nearly 4 hours at the border which was awful but not the company’s fault. The aircon wasn’t working too well on the bus so sitting in a queue to get into immigration was quite hot. We were dropped off in Hat Yai and then had to wait 1 and a half hours for our connecting bus which wasn’t ideal. They tried to charge us extra for our baggage also. Once we got on the bus we spent an hour in Hat Yai picking up different people from various different spots around the town. The bus was full and it was quite an old bus could do with a clean/ refurb. We left Penang at 8am and didn’t get to Surat Thani until 10:30pm which was dreadful. Again dropping people off along the way which prolongs the arrival time further. Honestly just book a coach not a mini bus.

I was really worried when I read the reviews but at the end the trip was perfect. We left Penang at 5.15 and at 14.15 we were in Surat Thani.
