Nicole SWe booked a shared bus from Kandy to Ella with stops for viewpoints and temple. We got a car, with a driver that constantly honked at everything and only stopped at the waterfalls and the tea factory (probably because we could buy something there). The postoffice and temples and the lake we drove by but did not stop. Also the ticket states the drive is 5 hours but it took almost 8 hours (maybe because the tour was combined with another tour where we needed to drop off a third person at the train station in Nanuoya, but no one told us). The ticket also states we should be there 30 minutes before the planed pick up, then the driver came 30 minutes after the pick up time). Overall an overprized private taxi that we could have booked somewhere else cheaper.

Ameerah WGeet,our driver took us to the places we wanted instead of the 2 temples listed on the list against some extra money.The tea factory and the tea tasting were a unique experience.The waterfall was breathtakingly beautiful.

Lasse SBy far the best taxi ride of our entire vacation. Samantha, our driver, took great care of us and was very friendly. We felt very safe and had a pleasant ride. Along the way, he even stopped when we wanted to take photos of the scenery.

Lucy BDriver didn't show up again, in spite of confirming the booking the day before with the company. The company sent an alternative driver after 1.5 hours. The driver drove much too fast, given the road conditions and recent land slides. Then asked us where the hotel was in Ella (we had no idea, we'd never been there before!) In spite of this being clear on the booking form. Then asked for payment at the end of the ride, even though we'd already paid via 12go.

Manuel DWe had a language barrier which was a problem because some roads were closed and driver couldn’t explain what he wanted to do. He was also driving a bit insecure and slow. We had other drivers before with the same agency and had better experiences with them.

Tanja PWe didn’t stopped at the mentioned stations. Only stopp was tea factory. The group didn’t buy something and they weren’t happy/friendly anymore. We waited 1,5h for picking up other people.
