Songsermは、タイ湾およびアンダマン海全域でのフェリーサービスを専門とするフェリーおよびバス運行会社です。バンコクやタイ南部の各都市とタイ湾の離島を結ぶ、バスとフェリーのセットチケットも提供しています。

Songsermは、タイ湾とアンダマン海の諸島を結ぶ航路において、最も長い歴史を持つ高速船会社であることを自負しています。

Songsermが運行する路線

ソンサームの急行船は、本土側のチュムポーンやスラートターニーと、タイ湾のサムイ島、パンガン島、タオ島の間を航行しています。

アンダマン海では、Songsermの高速船がピピ島とプーケット、クラビ、ランタ島を結んでいるほか、前述したタイ湾の3つの離島とも接続しています。

同社のバスとフェリーのセットチケットは、乗り継ぎの手間を省き、バンコクから離島まで手頃な価格かつ便利に移動できる方法です。

Songsermの主な人気路線は以下の通りです。

バンコク–タイ湾の離島

バンコクからタオ島、パンガン島、サムイ島へのチケットは、すべてセットチケット (コンビネーションチケット) です。

つまり、バンコクから向かう場合はまずバスで港へ向かい、そこからフェリーに乗り継ぎます。反対方向の場合はその逆の工程になります

バンコクでは、同社のバスはカオサン通りにある「Siam Oriental Inn」横のソンサーム・オフィスから出発します。

カオサンのソンサーム駅から出発する便はすべて夜行バスです。夜行バスを利用することで、日中の時間を有効に活用できます。バスは早朝に桟橋に到着するため、バンコクを出発した翌日の正午まで、あるいは正午頃には目的地に到着できます。

3つの島 (タオ、パンガン、サムイ) へ向かう旅行者は、最終目的地に関わらず、全員同じソンサームのバスに乗車します。

タオ島へ向かう乗客は、チュムポーンでソンサームの船に乗船します。

サムイ島およびパンガン島へ向かう乗客は、そのままバスでスラートターニーのドンサック桟橋まで移動し、そこからまずサムイ島へ寄り、その後にパンガン島へ向かうフェリーに乗船します。

バンコクから離島への所要時間

  1. タオ島: 15〜16時間
  2. サムイ島: 16時間30分〜17時間30分
  3. パンガン島: 17〜18時間

復路については、各島を正午前後に出発するスケジュールとなっています。日没までに本土へ戻り、夜行バスに接続する流れですので、翌朝早朝にはバンコクのカオサン・ソンサームオフィスへ帰着いただけます。

パンガン島およびサムイ島からの乗客はスラートターニーでバスに乗り換えます。タオ島からのフェリーはチュムポーンに到着し、そこでスラートターニーから北上してくる同じバスに乗車します。

サムイ島、パンガン島、タオ島間

ソンサームは、サムイ島、パンガン島、タオ島の間を移動する島巡りにも適した選択肢です。
同社のフェリーは、タイ湾のこれら3つの島すべてを相互に結んでいます。

    It is very long but it was ok. Next time I will fly to Surra Thani, but for this time it was ok. You arrive at a bus station at 5 a.m. where you need to wait for the next bus to the harbour and this is a bit annoying if you slept very well in the bus and need to get up. Ferry was totally ok. Good sleep to be honest.

    The trip was fine and we even made it a bit earlier, but personal note, try to book with Hotel transfer as otherwise you will end up spending more for a taxi within Koh Samui than the ferry trip itself.

    Overall, we were very impressed. We travelled on a very rocky and windy day and were stressed based on previous reviews, but the journey was made more comfortable by the size of the boat. It was quick and timely and seats were comfortable. The stop at Koh Phagnan on the way was not an issue at all and didn’t interfere with the journey.

    The boat arrived on time. But the AC was too high. It was raining so I couldn't go outside and was freezing sitting inside there. I eventually catched a cold :( It took us about 5 hours to arrive to koh tao. The ceiling had holes and on some point water came trough it because of the strong rain. Some passengers had to switch seats to avoid getting wet.

    I took a Lomphrayah speed catamar to Koh Tao which was scary and borderline unsafe. To come back, I took a Songserm ferry and was extremely happy with it, fewer people, so much space for yourself, no scary rocking of the boat, no one puking. I am surprised why more people don’t choose this option over speedboats.

    Everyone was puking on the boat Trip We thought that we will have a 1 hour boat trip to surat thani. But we got brought to every Island in a speedboat where it was like 5 hours of Roller coaster. Let the people know what they will experience. The earliest we knew what would happen was at the Pier when we registrated.

    The waves were insane, obviously no one's fault. Literally everyone on the ferry ended up throwing up. I guess better check the weather beforehand and if you still wanna go be prepared with some seasick pills.

    Alles wunderbar, nur innen war die Klimaanlage sehr kalt eingestellt. Wenn man nicht draußen in der Sonne sitzen will, sollte man sich warm anziehen. (Aber vielleicht fährt auf Verbindung ja auch nicht immer dasselbe Schiff.)

    make sure you get there early as you have to join a huge queue to get your actual tickets. we sat in the lower deck and the ceiling was leaking so us and our bags were drenched! they pile all suitcases and backpacks in a pile at the back of the boat so when you get there you’re waiting 30 mins to an hour to get your bag! it wasn’t a bad ride until the end with the delay of getting your bag and the instability of the walkway and pier getting off! use a different service

    We’ll organized trip and everything has been on time. Changing boats on Phangan has not been mentioned before so this has been kind of a surprise. Changing boats has been quite hectic and grabbing all the luggage out of the big pile is a pain. But in the end it worked and we arrived Samui in a good mood.

    Check in was straightforward and stress free. Seats were comfy on the boat and we had a smooth ride. It was a real shame that we all had to change boats at koh Phangan as we hadn’t been told this when booking and it was utter chaos. They need a better system for baggage.

    Wij reisde van ko phi phi naar ko Phangan. Veerboot/bus/veerboot. Alles was goed en strak geregeld en op tijd. Bij de don sak pier wat hectisch maar daar kan deze organisatie niets aan doen. Je krijgt de ticket om door de poortjes te gaan. Wel wat weinig tijd om onderweg iets te eten dus neem wat eten mee voor onderweg

    The Songserm website only accepts payment via PayPal which is a hassle. The person at the desk was very slow. The boat was quite old and nothing like the pictures. Our luggage was thrown into a room and items attached to the bag were lost. We got there alive that’s a positive!
