メリット
- 大型バスも電車も通っていない辺鄙な場所や小さな町や村に行くには、バンが唯一の手段のケースがあります。

デメリット
- 多人数乗車の場合、かなり窮屈に感じるかもしれません。足や肘を使うスペースは限られています。一部のバンでは、1枚のチケットで預けられる荷物は1個に制限されています。スーツケースやバックパックなど、荷物が多い場合は、荷物用のチケットを別途購入する必要があり、料金が2倍になります。
- すべてのバンがスケジュール通りに運行されているわけではありません。路線によっては、満席にならないと出発しない場合もあります。チケットを買う前にオペレーターに確認してください。バンが満員になるまで予想以上に長く待つことになるかもしれません。
- 他の交通手段でバンほど無謀なドライバーはいないでしょう。車両に速度制御ユニットを取り付けている会社もありますが、ドライバーが警告を無視し続け、走行中ずっとビープ音を鳴らしているケースは珍しくありません。バンで移動するときは、必ずシートベルトを着用しましょう。時にはシートベルトがどこにあるか、調べる必要があるかもしれません。
- 乗り物酔いしやすい人は、バン旅行の30分前に薬を飲んでおくとよいでしょう（特に、曲がりくねった道を通る場合）。バスよりもバンの方が乗り物酔いしやすいのです。

Das Taxi kam selbst nach einer Stunde nicht, erst nachdem ich dort angerufen hab und gefragt habe wann es doch endlich kommen würde. Kam es nach 20min. Mit mir wurde gar nicht richtig kommuniziert, da der Fahrer bzw die Fahrer nicht mal englisch konnten. Toller Preis, aber würde nicht nochmal damit fahren wollen.

I booked a transfer by shared van from my hotel in Phuket Town to Khao Lak. On the confirmation it was written that the pick up time could happen 45 minutes earlier or later. My driver arrived more than 1 hour and a half late in a white car with no taxi labels. I had to call support several times to get the right information on the driver and vehicle. I suspect that they forgot about me and sent a driver when I called them. All went good at the end because I had no rush to arrive at my destination but I wouldn’t recommend this service if you need to catch a flight. Grab or Booking.com is more reliable.

I ordered transfer from Phuket city (Other hotels) to the Phuket airport. Since there was no place where to indicate my hotel name, I contacted the support team and wanted to find out how I can inform about my pickup location. They responded quickly and sent additional confirmation e-mail that they have contacted the driver with my hotel address. Great experience, the van was almost empty and cost me half the price it would take for casual taxi.

Driver was 15 minutes late to pick us up. Then as we were driving to the airport he goes to a pier and says he is going to wait for 25 minutes to pick up more passengers, even though we needed to catch a flight. We told him no as we didn’t want to miss our flight. Overall, we got to the airport on time for our flight but I wouldn’t recommend.

It was a very helpful transport. However, we were kinda anxious as the operator was late for like 10-15 minutes, it's just a few minutes but it's our first time trying 12go.asia transport and there was no confirmations hours before the trip but overall it was a great trip.

Pick up from my Phuket hotel was great. Really lovely, smiley guy, in a super clean mini bus turned up and escoted me and 5 other passengers to the pier. The ride was straight forward and we had 1 break for the toilet, and 1 drop off along the way where passagers were getting different ferries. The drop didn't take more than 5 minutes.
We arrived at the pier an hour and 30 minutes early and that was more than enough time to show our emailed tickets to the cashiers who were really helpful.
The ferry was packed, but the ride was carefree. When we got to Koh Samui we were shown where to get our taxi to our hotels. The ride was quick. The driver did insist on dropping me 100 meters from my hotel, but then changed his mind after he had dropped everyone off to the steps of their hotels.
Would I recommend using this company? Yes. Would I use them again? I'm already booking my next trip! It was so straightforward, it's probably the easiest thing I've done in Thailand than going to the local 7-11.

The air con was not on, when we asked him to make it a bit cooler, he only made it 1 degree cooler. We were sweating the whole journey. The driver drove extremely dangerously. I understand that driving in Thailand is different but we were almost in various avoidable accidents where he had to slam the breaks or swerve erratically. But we did get there an hour quicker than quoted.

It was okay-ish. More like 2.5 stars. We booked online and the website resetted it to a different date. We heard that this is a common problem from someone who booked with them earlier. This is annoying, so watch out and check that you have the right days. They made us pay 200 Baht to change the time to what we wanted to book originally. It was not much cheaper for two than a taxi would have been, so I would just grab a taxi next time instead of the mini van service. The ride in itself was fine.

Driver did a great job, but very poor lack of coordination on pick up time in the AM. I arrived 30 minutes early to find the driver waiting. Some basic communication ahead of time would have been helpful.

Good, the driver was 30 minutes to late. Contacted service via email because of Saturday. In the meantime I found a telephone number on voucher and tried this. It was difficult to understand the person, but the driver arrived 5 min later. Further persons were picked up thus we needed 1 hour more for the way. Would be good to see how many pick-ups are planned at the time of booking

More details about what to expect at "check-in" would be helpful. There actually isn't any "check-in" you just wait in the designated area until a van comes. The van has "Call Me Taxi" written on it, and the driver should have your name on a list.
Other than that, was a smooth ride, with great drop off service right to your accommodation.

Wir standen eine knappe Stunde an einer Raststätte. Irgendwann hat der Fahrer auf Nachfrage gesagt, dass wir auf ein anderes Fahrzeug warten, in das manche umsteigen mussten. Am Flughafen gab es dann mit drei, vier Autos viel hin und her, welche Passagiere in welches Fahrzeug müssen. Dementsprechend kamen wir verspätet an.

Terrible driver. Because he was 30min late, he was driving dangerously fast. It’s started to rain heavily and we didn’t feel safe at all. Cutting corners into oncoming traffic and such.
He did drop us off at the hotel as was advertised.

They picked us up at the hotel, they were an hour late due to traffic, but it wasn’t a problem. The drive only took 3 1/2 hours, which was great. Then we waited at the ferry for 45 minutes for the boat and got on. Everything went very well and we we’re very happy with the overall experience.

They picked us up at the hotel at 7:30 which was great and the driver was very sweet, the reason for the 3 star rating is that when we got to the pier they had overbooked the ferry and we nearly didn’t get to koh Tao on the one we thought we had a ticket for
The lady at the pier wasn’t very helpful (but doesn’t work for 12go Asia) and it was finally one of the workers who just let us come and gave us the right stickers and luggage tags, he was a hero lol it was very stressful for about 1.5 hours but in the end it worked out seems to be better if you book 2-3 days in advance

Natürlich ist es eine lange Reise von Phuket nach Koh Tao, aber alles lief reibungslos ab und die Fahrt wurde gut organisiert. Nach ca. 2 Stunden Fahrt haben wir einen 30-minütigen Stopp an einer Raststätte mit humanen Preisen gemacht und die Abwicklung am Hafen hat auch gut geklappt. Anstatt um 17:00 Uhr kamen wir um 18:15 Uhr an. Viel früher geht das denke ich auch nicht, aber das war ok für uns.
