Un'esperienza molto buona in una cabina VIP. Tutto è filato liscio, anche se il punto di ritiro effettivo non era dove era scritto, le persone presenti erano consapevoli di noi e si sono occupate di trasportarci lì (senza alcun costo aggiuntivo).

Abbiamo viaggiato in autobus notturno da Halong a Sapa e abbiamo prenotato i biglietti tramite 12goAsia con Sapa Ethnic Travel. Avendo letto le recensioni precedenti, non è stato così male perché eravamo già preparati al peggio. Le informazioni più importanti della nostra esperienza. L'autobus era al completo ma non c'erano persone nel corridoio. L'autobus era pieno di zanzare (munitevi di spray!). Ci sono diverse fermate lungo il percorso, ma non ci sono pause ufficiali. Le soste per i servizi igienici erano fuori questione durante le 8 ore di viaggio. Non c'era nemmeno una toilette a bordo. Naturalmente, l'autista non parla inglese, come del resto nessuno a bordo. L'autista ha urlato ai turisti di sdraiarsi sul retro in aree di assemblaggio (5 accanto e uno sopra l'altro). Non è possibile scegliere il proprio posto. I posti migliori sono riservati ai passeggeri locali. C'è poco spazio per i bagagli nell'autobus (anche al piano inferiore), poiché vengono trasportate migliaia di altre cose (ad es. una moto - wtf). I bagagli più piccoli vengono spesso lasciati nel corridoio. A Lao Cai si viene poi trasferiti su un mini van (sovraffollato) per Sapa. Per 38 euro per 2 biglietti, non è la migliore esperienza. L'auto privata da Halong costa 170USD in confronto. Dovreste pensarci due volte ;-) La stazione di raccolta ad Halong non si trova alla stazione degli autobus di Bay Chai, ma praticamente di fronte ad essa. Diagonalmente di fronte al negozio Mitsubishi. Ma abbiamo dovuto scoprirlo da soli. Il nostro autobus era in ritardo di "soli" 30 minuti per il prelievo. E 1,5 ore all'arrivo. Quindi gli orari non sono così precisi.

The bus was scheduled to depart at 9:00 PM, so—following instructions—I arrived at the station 30 minutes early. The bus to Sapa was indeed parked there, but nothing was happening at 9:00 PM. By 9:20 PM, I was getting very anxious about the lack of activity, so I knocked on the bus door. A sleepy driver opened it, looked at my ticket, and said a different bus would be taking the trip. So, I kept waiting. I walked around the entire station looking for another bus to Sapa, but saw nothing. A short while later, another bus arrived; I ran over to show my ticket, and they let me on board. The whole wait, with no up-to-date information, was exhausting. I was also bothered by the fact that the bus didn't announce restroom stops. I had to stay alert so I wouldn't miss one, so I chose not to sleep.

Was given a window of pick up between 8:20 to 9:50pm (for what was meant to leave at 9:30pm for the international port. We arrived at 8pm to make sure we were early and the port where the buses work in and out of were closed and dark (we went there during the day to know where to go that night) so no access to anything especially toilets. By 9:30pm the number still wasn’t answering and finally text back saying a van would pick us up in 15 mins to take us to the actual bus. Then we were taken to the side of a road where the bus was waiting (7 mins drive so not sure why they didn’t just tell us to wait there for the actual bus) and we were expected to get on with still having no access to a toilet. After cracking the shits at the driver they took us to the petrol station to use the toilet. Apart from that the bus was good. Hard for me at 6 foot 4 (you are too big if over 150-160cm). Doable with my legs folded up but hard for an 9 hour ride.

Cons: bus bed remote didnt work. Neither did the TVs for me or any of my family members I was travelibg with. Driver did not attempt to see if everything was ok or show us how things work Pros: excellent 12GO remote.assistance. Pick ups and drops off at hotels very well organised.

Very awesome experience. I enjoyed the ac, and the comfy bed with pillow and clean blanket. It was nice to have a charger port available and the wifi worked almost the entire trip. The driver was friendly and safe and punctual. The assistance thru the wifi app was much appreciated for pick-up directions. The bus was on time and I would highly recommend this bus service company. Best bus of my life so far!!!
