The driver had the air conditioner on very, very weak most of the trip. It was very hot and people were sweating. Some of the passengers were vomiting and it smelled and the driver closed the window with tape. Only shortly before the end did the driver turn up the air conditioner and it was a little more pleasant.

Someone had thrown up on the seat next to me. They had tried to clean it but they still put a lady in it, she complained the seat was wet and when she went to put her seatbelt on she came in contact with the vomit which confirmed where the smell of the vomit was coming from. They promptly moved both of our seats. The driver then proceeded to drive very fast and unsafely through all the mountain turns, I didn’t feel well and I had even taken a travel sick tablet. I was very disappointed that 12go wouldn’t let me select a seat. Then it put me in the back row where it was cramped and bumpy. People who booked directly with the carrier could select a seat.

Driving was too fast and a bit reckless. The drivers should not be pressured to do too many trips in one day; it is unsafe. Also our rucksacks and all their contents were drenched in the rain. They were placed on the roof under a cover that was obviously NOT waterproof, so what is the point of that?

I knew the route was leading through the serpentines but I didn’t expect the driver to be driving as if we were being cased. I could relax because the curves were so sharp.

Driver was efficient but not too efficient, typical SE Asia driving. I thought I was about to vomit at the end but that was just because I was seated in back and the turns got to be too much. I took one 50 mg dimenhydramine and should have taken two.

12go has a sneaky way of charging you unwanted travel insurance by making you "uncheck" the option which is buried in the booking process. I did not see the unwanted fees until the payment was made.

WHAT A RIDE!! Was nearly sick in my hat but whoooop! Nice vehicle, top quality professional rally driver! 4hrs 20 mins??! Not for our guy! Got there in 3 hours with plenty of time to be sick afterwards. Take some motion sickness pills little yellow ones and you'll be on planet happy. A+++ can't wait to do it again 🤮️

It was ok. If you have the possibility to take a scooter, do that. The road is very windy and brutal and the driver goes quite fast. A woman on my bus had to throw up and asked him to stop but he just kept going and told her to use a bag. I also had to throw up when we took a quick stop for toilet break, despite me taking travel sickness medication beforehand.

Overall good experience, we did arrive earlier than scheduled, driving style was ok, no issues with motion sickness. Driver did accept calls on his mobile phone though multiple times, when the bus he was driving really needed both hands to operate, and he was basically shouting into his phone. Bit annoying, but nothing that would keep me from booking again.

The driver drove very fast on the hilly side of the journey. A few times the van even drifted a little bit. It arrived earlier than shown on the ticket but this should not be at the expense of safety I think.

The ride itself was good, but motion sickness medication and nasal inhalers are highly recommended. The road from Pai to Chiang Mai is very winding, and some passengers felt sick during the trip. The driver was driving quite fast.

Drivers were rude and one of them hit a guy on a bike..

The driver was incredibly rude to everyone on the bus! He was throwing bags around and yelling at the women with children and even the locals, It was very unfortunate because the other staff members were very polite. I work in the tourism industry at home, and this is definitely not the kind of experience that tourists come to Thailand for. This driver is a disgrace to the transportation company. Please educate him, because just like me, his livelihood also depends on the tourism industry.
