Cesar JOverall, I wasn’t very happy with the experience. Being around 30 minutes late is something I really don’t appreciate, especially when working as a temporary employee in a shuttle or other support role where punctuality is very important.
If you know you’re going to be late, I think the least you can do is contact someone as soon as possible and let them know. Even if you can’t reach the person you were supposed to contact directly, you should at least try to reach someone else who can be informed. Good communication and reliability are essential in these kinds of jobs.
For me, punctuality is a very important part of being professional, so this experience was disappointing.
