Las Ventajas de Viajar en Autobús
- El autobús es la mejor opción para llegar a lugares a los que no llega el tren o el avión. La red de autobuses cubre prácticamente todo el país, y a menudo las rutas han estado bien establecidas desde hace tiempo.
- A diferencia de los viajes en avión o en tren, cuando se viaja en autobús no es necesario llegar a la estación con mucha anticipación. El check-in, incluso para las rutas internacionales, no toma mucho tiempo. Los límites de equipaje suelen ser bastante convenientes para el viajero, y la tarifa por equipaje extra, si hay límites establecidos, generalmente no es muy alta.
- Los billetes de autobús casi siempre son más económicos que los de avión o tren rápido. Los diferentes tipos de autobús se adaptan a todos los bolsillos. Los autobuses estándar, que son más baratos, pueden ser un poco lentos y no brindar el máximo confort, pero en todo caso son aceptables y te llevarán a tu destino. Para los trayectos más largos, los autobuses casi siempre tienen baño o, si no, hacen paradas para ir al baño, y el precio suele incluir aperitivos, agua y, a veces, artículos de aseo y mantas.

Desventajas de los Viajes en Autobús
- Las nuevas terminales interurbanas de autobuses suelen estar fuera de la ciudad, cerca de grandes autopistas, para evitar la congestión urbana. Esto puede crear dificultades para los viajeros. Llegar a una terminal de este tipo puede ser problemático, ya que en algunas terminales hay restricciones en cuanto a los tipos vehículos que pueden entrar, y hay que utilizar transportistas especiales para llegar allí. Esto podría acarrear mayores costos si los precios están inflados. Calcula tiempo extra si viajas en horas punta, especialmente si no estás familiarizado con la situación del tráfico local.
- Los autobuses son probablemente el medio de transporte que menos se ajusta a los horarios previstos, comparado a los trenes y a los aviones. Los autobuses dependen en gran medida de la situación de las carreteras, que a veces es impredecible (accidentes, obras, desvíos, etc.). Good trip; as well as can be expected for an overnight bus. Comfortable seats, and the bus was not full, so more room to stretch out. On arrival in Dubrovnik so early in the morning, the station was not open, and it wasn't easy to get transport to my accommodation.

It was okay. We were not sure where to stand to get our bus at Buna Bridge. In the booking the link sends us to a destination directly on the bridge, but there is a bus stop called “Buna Bridge” at the nearest gas station, which would make more sense. We tried calling the customer service and they couldnt say where we should stand. That was very stressed full. And the bus was half an hour late. It would have been nice if the driver would say when there was a break and how long the break was. Because if you had to go to the toilet, you were worried about whether you would make it back to the bus.

Bad pick up spot felt unsafe. Once the bus arrived it was clean and the driver navigated the 2 border crossings efficiently. My luggage was tagged and held securely in the hold for the entire trip. Even though I was picked up very late, we arrived on time in Split and I made my ongoing connection. Th ebus station is Split is well signed and a good drop off location to make other connections. The bus arrived almost an hour late. The bus stop in Shkoder is on the outskirts of town with poor lighting and no signage. It felt dangerous and unsafe to be standing on the side of the road in an isolated position late at night as a single woman travelling alone. It would be so much better if the bus stopped in the main square of town where many other buses stop and there are restaurants and businesses around and open and there is more lighting and activity in the centre of town. Would not recommend for solo travellers.

Trip to wedding of friend of ours. The driver was really polite and gave us really good seats. The control in Montenegro and Albania went really fast and we didn‘t have any problems. We also slept a bit in the bus. Unfortunately we didn‘t know where the bus will leave us. The bus stop was like 20 mins with car away from the city… It was between 4-5 oclock in the morning and there were no free taxis and some albanian couple took us to our hotel in the centre. The bus just left us in the middle of nowhere. We were than a bit dissapointed….

I was declined to sit by others, we stopped too many times for a smoke break. Friendly staff. 1. After entering the bus, each person was in their own pair of seats. When I asked to sit with a women, she told me no. She, as well as most people, was travelling in pairs or families. They all refused to sit together. 2. We stopped the bus too much. There's already so much delay at the borders - do we really need 4 smoke breaks before leaving Croatia? 3. Was dropped off 5 km from city center. We are forced to walk in the dark as female travelers alone.

Conductor y ayudante del conductor amables y fácil de comunicarse con ellos. El bus tenía que durar 5 horas según la progrmaación y acabó durando 7:30h. Muchas paradas en mitad de la nada y tres o cuatro pausas muy largas en áreas de servicio.

The Ticket Inspector was very helpful and kind to us and in Addition his english skills are really good. Perfect driver! The comfort was poor. No electricity plugs, just USB. Nobody uses that anymore and it was to warm in the Bus. We went of the Bus outside of Shkoder Not at the estimated Bus stop! :(.

We had to negotiate with other passengers to get 2 seats together. The driver was skilled and his partner/colleague/ticket taker was polite, professional and helpful. We arrived on time and in one piece. One passenger played loud music AND some sort of first person shooter game on his phone without headphones late into the night. It would have been helpful if the ticket taker had checked the upstairs section for such disturbances and said something. No passengers did so. The seats were cramped, and there was trash in bags everywhere that never were changed in the 10 hours on the road.

Bad Service. I had a Bus ticket to Shkodër. The bus driver forgot to stop in Shkodër. After I reminded him, he dropped me of at a random gas station in the middle of nowhere at 5 AM. I am a young female who is travelling on my own so it made me feel very unsafe.

Would not recommend the bus company. We took a bus from Croatia to Albania. The bus driver forgot to stop in the city, we were supposed to go. After reminding him, he turned around and dropped us off 44km away from the bus stop at a random gas station in the middle of nowhere. It was 5am in the morning and we are a group of four females. We had to take a taxi, because it would have been a 10 hour walk to the city. When texting the bus company, they told us, the bus driver dropped us off at the correct spot, which is a complete lie.

The bus was comfortable. The bus was comfortable and the driver was safe. The timetable said it would take 2.5hours, but it took over 3.5hours. There was no sense of urgency from the driver and we wasted a lot of time picking people up and dropping people off from unofficial stops - there was only supposed to one stop on the trip. We missed our connection due to this inefficiency and in that basis would use a more reliable provider in the future.

Terminal fees (bus station fees) and luggage fees (per-unit prices) are common in the region and GBB should really get a grip on communicating those when you buy a ticket. The sums aren't big, but having coins ready or even just knowing there's no way to board a bus without first getting a receipt for the station fee - that's pretty useful information if you're on a tight schedule.

Confort was good but everything else was terrible! Confort was good. When we were meant to go to Shkodër, the bus driver completely missed our bus stop and ended up 30min away. Instead of going back he said he would pay for a random van to take us to Tirana and then we had to go back to Shkodër (Tirana to Shkodër is an hour and a half). We had accomodation booked and everything. Since we were only meant to be there one night it was a waste of time going back! So disappointing as once he went past the stop (15min) he could have turned around. But ignored us and stopped 20min in the middle of nowhere. Where we had to take a van to Shkodër. So disappointing!

Excellent service, very well organised with the border crossing and breaks. Nice journey manager who took care of everything at the border crossings, USB plugs, Air conditioning, regular breaks, punctuality. The only things that would have been nice is wifi.

Very Late Arrival. The ride was okay. The bus arrived in Skopje very late. The website said: Arrival: August 8, 2023 | 11:30 am. But the actual arrival time was closer to 1:00 in the afternoon. The bus makes many many stops along the way. Plus we have to pass a country border so I think it is unrealistic to write the arrival time in Skopje would be at 11:30 in the morning.

Longer than expected. Bus was easy to find and drivers were friendly abd even exchanged my last dinar into euros. Border crossing was pain free. The bus should have arrived at 1830 but took a longer route nearly up as far as pristina. Did not arrive until gone 1930 which made getting the keys to our apartment more difficult.

Late. Late. Late. Comfortable ride. Not sure how this happened, but we were a full hour late in arriving at a destination which was only supposed to take 2.5 hours. It was 3.5 hours. We started on time. There was an unexplained delay one place for about ten minutes. The rest of the time we were moving… I have no idea how this took so long unless the driver was just going extra slow? It was a problem because it had gotten dark, I needed to find an ATM, locate my guesthouse and hike there before their registration period closed for the night. I just barely made it.

Although they don't speak English, we could understand each other somehow. And there was the guy (ticket inspector or I don't know who), who was the only English-speaker. At the end of our ride he made a proper apology, told us about the direction in Prizren and even helped us catch a taxi, so this is a big plus. The bus got a defect (???), so they told us that we need to change buses. A big, full bus to a small transit car or what was that. We left some people in the middle of nowhere, because there wasn't enough space. The transit was really full, with a small baby and a girl threw up during the trip. Well, the bus-guys gave her a bag just in time, it wasn't a problem. And they solve the defect thing quite quickly, but still, you should get a bus the same size..

Vector travel. Comfortable bus. Bus was two hours late and this wasn't because of border waits as this was normal waiting time. There was lots of unexpected local stops and unscheduled drop off in other settings that wasn't a bus station. Be warned if have connections to other buses or flights.
