not as luxurious as my previous sleeper bus tríp. No wrap-around curtains for privacy, no charger connections for my phone, seat not as wide as I like.

Train ride was great, on time leaving and arrival. Toilets were adequately clean WITH toilet roll! Bonus Seats with AC reclined fantastically and comfortable. Looking forward to our return trip

First class sleeper was not ‘first class’. It was all ok and functional but bedding was not particularly clean, the carriage was old and a bit dirty and the toilet ... well, train toilets are typically poor all over the world but this was fairly awful. We did 5 hours - can’t imagine what 30 would be like! Vietnam train tickets are not expensive relative to UK.

Took vip 4 sleeper. We were 3 adults from same family. A father and young daughter had 4th bunk in cabin. Turned our lights out and slept reasonable well. It's train travel, so you do have a bit of noise and rumble and tumble, train stopped twice for 30 minutes each time, we got a knock 30 minutes before our station came up. Would definitely travel again my train, once dawn came up it was amazing traveling through towns and waving to the locals..

Over Chinese New Year period train heavy booked took what was available and got offered better sleeper seats by conductor. They provided a service which would be acceptable in most countries. Very content customers. Great economical way to travel.
