It was noisy, cold and the light was on all night. But, but only 50 minutes delay. So that was quite good.

train #37 2nd Class Sleeper AC, Thai Railways, Feb 22, 2020
Good trip - six of us in minivan, spacious and well air conditioned. Took us to bus station in Georgetown town - destination within Penang could have been clearer but suspect this was a language barrier thing.

The staff were excellent, everyone was very friendly and helpful on the train. The trains are old but sturdy, and very comfortable. We did arrive 2.5hrs late which is understandable for the distance you are covering. I will definitely use this travel option again soon

Nothing much. Because my expectation is high, so, the rate I give cause no nearest plug for recharging and no instruction in english.. Im quite scared if I over my trip or destination

train #31 2nd Class Sleeper AC, Thai Railways, Jan 20, 2020
The Special Express train has been the best train we've been on in Asia. Extremely clean, comfortable beds, the attendants help to change the seats over to the beds in the evening, pleasant journey, highly recommend. Note that this is the Special Express train, so it's a newer train. We haven't been on the other sleeper trains, but we will definitely only travel on the Special Express trains from now on.

I can't remember this trip, which is good - that means that nothing out of the ordinary happened, and the ride went along as planned.

Booking on 12go was easy within the app but my personal preference has always been on the web. The bus was clean and comfortable with snacks and drinks provided. There was a toilet onboard, hence no need to do many stops. Bus reached the destination on time which is a lot better than when I traveled on the train from Hat Yai to Bangkok, it was delayed for more than 2 hours!

train #169 2nd Class Sleeper AC, Thai Railways, Dec 14, 2019
The trip was great as usual, what was really disappointing was when I arrived to collect the tickets I had ordered weeks earlier the wrong day was inputted and I was told that the train was full . After waiting approx 45 mins the girl suggested I had a refund and go and book a ticket for that day as planned , I reminded her that I had booked from the u.k and this was a connection within a stream of connections. The outcome was eventually the company got me an upgraded ticket for a/c for the same price , unfortunately my colleague and I weren’t not seated together as planned. The upside was eventually it was okay I got my trip but it was not a nice feeling to be told they had made a huge error and there was no real apology or compensation. I have used 12 go before with my 3 yr old and it was great, but will think twice before using then again.

Bus VIP 24, Sri Siam Tour, Dec 3, 2019
Really enjoyed the trip. Large comfortable seats good air con plenty of room. Extra things not expected were the free water and goodies given at departure. Also a stop at a rest area for a 20 minute meal also free. Our first trip by bus in Asia certainly not our last. Also very easy to book. 12GoAsia website easy to use and very informative. Made it all very easy.

train #169 2nd Class Sleeper Fan, Thai Railways, Nov 18, 2019
12go took 250baht from you as service charge, eventho the train station is not even 100m from their office. But if you don't have anyone else to buy the ticket for you with charge free, then cannot complaint much. It took me 20hours of the train ride. Train #169 with sleeper fan is very comfortable. They have centralized air-condition inside. No need to worry bout getting hungry while you're inside. The local vendors from each stops or each province will bring you their own delicacy which sometimes you cannot find it them in the big cities.

Very good service, bed ok, train a bit noisy.

train #31 1st Class Sleeper, Thai Railways, Nov 6, 2019
No problems at all. Train was at the station around 45 min before departure, we settled into our cabin, it was clean and spacious and thats all you can ask for. Lady came around to serve you drinks and food a few times. Attendant was on hand if you needed anything and made our bed up when we were ready. The toilet were clean and also the shower seemed pretty good. We arrived around half hour late at final destination, but not an issue for us.

train #31 2nd Class Sleeper AC, Thai Railways, Oct 29, 2019
Our journey was 16 hours from Bangkok to Hatyai. Our mistake was to not pack enough food! Everything was nice during the trip. They will only make the bed at 6pm so you'll have to sit during the day. The cafe experience was bad. They can't speak English at all so I had to use Google translate and a lot of hand gestures. Not to mention some menu are out of order, the waiter kept forgetting our meals and mistakenly calculated the bill (lucky we recalculated it again ourselves, saved us 300 baht). If you don't engage with the cafe I believe you would have nice experience.

train #31 1st Class Sleeper, Thai Railways, Oct 20, 2019
It is easy and convenient to travel on the train. Meals are better to have at canteen and not ordered from the staff. Conductor ia very friendly and helpful. Great travel experience for a 1st timer. Will definitely travel again on other routes.

It was a long trip, not as punctual as expected. Reached bkk 2hrs than expected, coming back was 1hr late. So dont buy connecting tickets if travelling to Malaysia from Thailand. The operators were kind and helpful. Thank you 12go for offering good services.
