- Opposite to air travel and sometimes rail travel, taking a bus does not require arriving at the bus station much in advance. Check-in, even on international routes, does not take much time. Luggage allowances are usually very traveller-friendly, and the fee for extra luggage, if limits are set, is normally not very high.
- Bus tickets can be more affordable compared to air or fast train tickets. There is always a choice of ticket classes for all pockets. Cheaper standard options may be a bit slow and do not offer top comfort, but anyway acceptable and bring you to your destination. On longer routes, toilets or toilet stops as well as snacks, water, and sometimes toiletries and blankets are almost always included in the price.

Cons of Bus Travel
- Newer intercity bus terminals are very often located out of the city close to bigger highways to allow buses to avoid city congestion. Getting to such a terminal may be a problem as in some destinations there are restrictions on vehicles allowed to enter the terminal, and you will have to use special carriers to get there. This results in higher costs as prices may be inflated. Also do calculate extra time if you are travelling during rush hours, especially if you are not familiar with the traffic situation at your starting point.
- Buses are probably the means of transport which runs out of schedule more often than trains or planes. They are heavily dependent on the road situation which sometimes can be unpredictable – accidents, road construction works, detours, etc. This is especially true for travels during weekends, high season, or national holidays. Do keep this in mind and do not plan tight connections.
- Travelling on certain routes or during the most popular periods may require advanced booking. Bear in mind that it is not always possible to show up at the bus station and hop on the next bus – tickets may well be all sold out, so organize your trip accordingly.

Kasni. Na online kartama nema br.perona. Na stanici kazu da ne znaju, cititiram ".kupite peronsku kartu pa obilazite po peronu,valjda cete naci.." Vozač ne zainteresovan ,ne ažuran.Nema WF.Vecina putnika za Split,ide dalje teajektom ili katamaranom.Po redu vožnje trebali smo stici u 09,20.Stigli smo u 10,20.Propale su nam karte za katamaran,sledeći smo imali tek u 15,30.Neplaniran trosak,i samo putovanje je trajalo pakleno dugo.Kupili smo dir.kartu za Split i zarad putnika koji idu dalje da prvo vozi za Split,linija je takva da je to poslednja stanica.Razocarenje!!!

They could do with some customer service training. Both of our seats were broken. The bus was over 1 hour late causing us to miss our next buss and having to spend another 50euro to get new tickets. Next time we will hire a car or fly.

They were taking unnecessary money for baggage. Even for a small bag. The driver and his helper were taking 2 or 3 euros for the bags. I had a small bag pack and they asked me 2 euros if I want to take that bag with me. Very disappointing.

Drivers were nice, heating was very good (even too strong occasionally), chairs were very comfortable. Bus departure was late for over an hour. Bus did not have WIFi as promised, nor did it have snacks and drinks, as said. Some passengers who boarded in Belgrade and were traveling to Sremska Mitrovica came in without ticket and were standing during the ride.

the bus was clean and tidy, the drivers were friendly, mostly everything was according to the timetable. some seats on the bus were defective; it would be better if the places were numbered, i.e. that there is a reservation of specific places - seats, because passengers would then be more relaxed, without worrying about a seat on the bus.

Poštovanje vremena polaska. Nisam mogao da sedim zajedno sa svojom devojkom jer su putnici koji su ušli ranije uglavnom seli sami do prozora, tako da nije nigde bilo slobodna dva mesta. Trebalo bi da uvedete numerisanje sedišta.

The bus was stopping at places that are not mentioned on the ticket (namely, in Macvanska Mitrovica, we had 3 stops - not one. Station, gas tanking and a break. There was a stop in Slavonski brod that most of the passengers did not expect. It ment exiting highway and losing additional hour.) We came to Zagreb 1 hour late, in spite of no fuss at the border. The return ride to Belgrade did not happen. The bus was delayed several times only to be cancelled.

Disaster. Clean bus. good day, the buses are clean and tidy. The drivers were extremely unprofessional, with strange and nonsensical jokes, two older men, who attacked younger passengers, and made fun of old grandmothers when they mentioned why they don't take breaks, etc. on the way to the destination, they rushed as if they were private they are in a hurry somewhere. They carried packages to people from one city to another, charging good money for it. They played terrible music and didn't care if anyone objected. When we arrived, the other driver did not want to give me the suitcase, I had to lift and lower it myself.

I did write: Driver ok, value for money ok, comfortable ride ok But tidiness fair, why, cause: bus began to ride exactly on time, yes, perfect, but came in destination Zagreb 1 hour later. I was because of a bus before us at border-control between Servia and Croatia took too long time checking by entering Croatia, another passenger told me it was a bus from Kosovo. -> Flixbus has to tell that the arriving time in Zagreb from Belgrade is 'approximate', 'estimated'. I had to postpone my appointment because I arrived 1 hour later.

satisfied with the ride. We got a double deck bus which was really nice since there was a lot of passengers. The ride was pleasant. I travelled in time of holidays so there were some crowds on the border but the bus wasn't too late to destination. Passengers on top deck complained that they were too hot, but on bottom deck it was cold.

Terrible heat. In time, on time. There was heat coming from underneat the seat which was horrible. Like a heat blast directly on me. I asked the bus drivers 2 times to turn it off because it is unbearable to with stand for full 6 hours, but they did nothing. I tough that it Will burn my skin. The bus drivers answer was: find a seat elsewhere. Yeah, where, the bus is sold out and i am with a small child. 2) we had to pay full price for a kid.

We were late at departure 30 minutes. At the ride from Belgrade, 27th 10. we have internet in a bus (Flix bus wifi), but on returt at 28th 10. there were no wi fi. We were lateat departure from Zagreb. Some passinger lost they connecting ride and driver suggest them to take a taxi..there were no little staff under the head, so it was uncomfortable ride.

Zagreb to Belgrade ride. The seats are comfortable, and the bus arrived on time. The heating system. I'm not sure what's wrong, but our legs were on fire. I asked the driver several times to turn it down, but nothing changed. And it wasn't even cold out. I was completely sweaty when I arrived in Belgrade. I would not advise anyone to travel in this manner.

2 1/2 delay at arrival. The driving was steady and even speed. It made us feel safe and it was easy to fall asleep. For administrative reasons, the route was not direct and all passengers had to change buses in the franchisee's home town (Sremska Mitrovica). This was in addition to 2-hour delay at borders. The result was arriving VERY late at night at our destination, especially unsafe for a child. We were forced to use a taxi, instead of easy public transport. This happens every time we take a bus to or from Serbia, so I suspect it may be deliberate.

Jako ugodna i profesionalna vožnja. Unatoč kilometarskoj gužvi na granici, zahvaljujući verziranim i spretnim vozačima izbjegli smo čekanje te smo u Beograd stigli sa samo 10 tak minuta kašnjenja. Za svaku pohvalu! Samo jedan odmor od samo 10 min na vožnju od 6 sati.

Not expensive if you buy your tickets on time. Bus is not new and not the cleanest but there is a toilet and phone charger. Route is a bit slow with some stops they make.

The delay extended the total travel time. It took me 10 hours to get from Beograd to Zagreb. For some reason the bus had to be switched. Only the waiting for a different bus took more then 3 hours. No explanation at all, I didn’t help not one of the drivers spoke a word of English. What should have taken al little less then 5 hours to get took me more then 10 hours.
