Company Information
Formerly known as Negros Navigation, 2Go Travel is one of the core subsidiaries of Philippine-based 2GO Group Inc. which was established way back in 1949.
The operator specializes in passenger ships and fast ferries operations. It was formed by a merge of the biggest shipping lines in the country: SuperFerry, Cebu Ferries, and SuperCat which became known as SuperFerry and subsequently acquired by Negros Navigation.
The company has one of the most modern and expansive fleets of inter-island vessels in the Philippines including roll on/roll off passenger vessels that can accommodate up to 1800 passengers as well as fastcrafts.
2Go Travel currently has 106 outlets all over the country located in malls, travel agencies, and various ports.
Routes served by 2GO
Manila is the most popular point of origin for 2Go ferries that head to various destinations across the country.
In Manila, 2Go ferries depart from North Harbor Pier 4, which can be accessed by a jeep.
Manila–Cebu
2Go sails for Cebu 4 times weekly on FRIDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY, and WEDNESDAY. It is a 23-hour journey.
Manila–Cagayan de Oro
2Go’s 44-48-hour, 1400 km sea journey to Cagayan de Oro is similarly popular with three weekly departures on THURSDAY, SUNDAY, and WEDNESDAY.
Manila–Zamboanga
There is one departure a week to Zamboanga every SUNDAY. Travel duration could be as much as 42 hours.
Manila–Bacolod
2Go ferry leaves for Bacolod every
THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, TUESDAY taking about 27 hours.
Manila–Puerto Princesa
Twice weekly, on TUESDAY and FRIDAY, there is ferry service to Puerto Princesa. This voyage can last about 30 hours.
From Batangas
Aside from Manila, EVERY DAY EXCEPT MONDAY 2Go Travel also operates vessels from the Batangas Port to Caticlan for those who are bound for
- Boracay, 10h30m
- Romblon, 7 hours
- Odiongan, 7 hours
- Roxas City, 15 hours.
Note that Batangas to Caticlan is an extremely popular route, so advanced online booking is highly advisable – especially if you are travelling during the summer months.

2Go cruise ships feature different cabins and accommodation options, from super-cheap Mega Value Class to luxurious Staterooms or Suitrooms for 2, hence regardless of your budget you are sure to find the type of ticket that suits your pocket and meets your requirements.
Note that in summer it is better to opt for an air-conditioned type of accommodation as it can get oppressively hot even in the open sea.

2Go ticket booking can be made in person in any of the company’s outlets or online via the official website or via OTA like us. Booking process is easy with instant confirmation.
When booking online, an e-ticket is issued, which should be then shown at boarding together with your valid ID.
IMPORTANT! If you do not print out your e-tickets you will be asked to pay for your real ticket at the port.

The best strategy to take advantage of this is to subscribe to the company’s pages in social media. There are both promos for immediate travel and advanced booking.
Pros
- 2Go has really placed a premium on the safety and comfort of their passengers. Security checks of luggage are always conducted. There is a sufficient number of life jackets on board, lifeboats, an in-house medical unit, a rescue boat and even a few police representatives.
- The amenities and facilities are not to be frowned upon, either. There is always a good front office, a 24/7 cafe, a full bar, live entertainment, salons, and spas.
- There are charging stations on board for passengers of all classes.
- 2Go ships including common areas and toilets are generally cleaner compared to other ferries around the archipelago.
- Overnight trips are a great way to save some bucks on accommodation and entertainment.
- 2Go can arrange onward transportation for passengers through their partner companies to make your travel even more convenient.
Cons
- Trips can be delayed or cancelled due to weather conditions, especially during the typhoon season. Be ready and be flexible. This is not the fault of the company, though. Yet in case of a delay no complimentary food and drinks are offered.
- The refund process if you require one can take as long as 2 months if you cancel your tickets paid for by a bank card for any reason.
- Air-conditioning is often freezing cold but overall the price and experience are hard to beat.

Beautiful ship, very friendly crew and excellent food. I would have guessed your twenty-three (23) year old ship was only ten (10) years old! Very clean, and well-maintained. All of the crewmembers smiled, all the time—and the young people in your apprenticeship program were delightfully energetic and enthusiastic. The meals were delicious, and assorted baked things almost too much (!). The prayers were a beautiful touch.

The boat trip was a lot better than we expected after seeing information online. We booked the business class 6 bed room and it was very clean and comfortable. Each bed has curtains so it felt very private, and the AC kept the room at a comfortable level. The boat itself had everything you needed, and you can go on the deck which is nice and there’s a smoking area on the boat. The bad side was that we got food on the boat after being one of the first to board and it was cold. We had a meal included which we were not informed of and we found out afterwards after speaking to other people who had gotten then same boat.

We’ve had the 4 bed room & overall it was much better than we expected - own bathroom/shower & everyone was super kind. The only negative point is the veryyy loud concert in the main area. It was louder than every concert we’ve ever been to - you couldn’t even have a conversation without screaming.

In spite of the delay due to weather conditions, all in all we enjoyed a pleasant trip, by and large with the amenities we might expect.
I'm a foreigner living in the Philippines for the past decade (Visayan speaker) with a background in railways, passenger and freight transportation, transport infrastructure development and transport policy, and tourism, with an extensive travel history.
Also with regards to current interactions between my professional network and SE Asian administrations, I would be interested in an exchange with your esteemed Company, with two possible goals:
1. I may give more detailed feedback and proposals, from a personal and professional point of view based mainly on this my last trip and also on earlier experience with you and other operators.
2. Our main research question is, how to establish trimodal logistics chains within our islands, how to integrate into our transport system economically viable container trains on our future and existing rail networks, as a contribution towards a carbon-neutral energy-efficient economy. For that second topic, you might put me on to relevant resource persons internally and externally of 2GO for an exchange of information and professional viewpoints on intermodal freight flows and related policies.

Informationplitics wasn't very well. Ferry was 8hours delayed but no Info s at the gate about that. Then during the drive most of the time it was not possible to go ojtside because the doors were closed - also no informations why and how long.... rooms were clean.

Comfortable beds. Rapid fuss free boarding. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was that I couldn't go on deck, the doors were kept shut. The idea of a ferry is to experience being on the water not to be inside.

We booked Suite Room 1, and it felt like we were on an international voyage. The room was spacious, but the only downside was the shower, which wasn't very good. The food wasn't great, but we weren't hungry. Overall, it was a brilliant experience, and I would love to do it again with my family.

I thought I'd try something different other than flying. It was ok. I don't regret it. You don't see much on the way but it's still beautiful. It's a smooth ride. The staff was nice.
It's tough to sleep well in there. They said they'd provide sheets but they did not. The toilets were absolutely disgusting the whole time. The food was very basic, not too tasty, but it's ok. You can buy coffees and snacks on board. Also, bring change (lots of 5 PHP) to charge your phone onboard.

When booked on 3, you will be divided by your group.. despite being a big company, cant even invest on starlink for wifi, at least have some vouchers when they at least spend 500 on your ship it was free wifi, that way you can rake more income and give the needs of people its like hitting 2 birds with 1 stone. TV is not working, aircon is not adjusting.

I don't know where to start.... It's a ~55$ ride in a 30 to 40 bunk bed Hostel dorm which excludes blankets and sheets😂 ( 60 Pesos extra). the toilets are smelly like the ones you know from the central station from 1999. And there are only 4 toilets for 800 Men. Normally I'm. Okay with budget travelling like worse then this but not for this price... If it cost around 15$ bucks yeah fine.
There are TVs in your rooms which are noisy as fuck, so we turned them off but at the end you have the lights which stays on the whole night...
The food which is included is horrible dry and cold rice, scrumbbeld egg pieces and some goat balls?
Last point is just nonsense but good to know, you won't be able to go into the harbour without going to a random 2GO store and pay 50 peso to print the ticket on a piece of paper🙄 after that you'll get charged another 20 Peso "Terminal Fee" and sometimes a "Bad looking Fee" cause you're exhausted from organising everything for the "Philippino Rules" to get just to Manila.
The last one was a joke but, hey thumbs up Philippines youre coming close to Germans nonsense fees and taxing system.
This is for the tourist class, so I recommend to book at least a 4 cabin or just take an airplane, if you book them. Early the price are cheap.

Паромы 2go просто потрясающие, размер, выглядит презентабельно, на таком очень приятно плыть. Есть кофейня, караоке, столовая, магазин, парикмахерская. Очень нравятся паромы этой компании.
Паром в Манилу задержали на 9 часов, это, конечно, никуда не годится

i booked for a tourist place an i had a mega value place. aircon so cold, noisy people talking next to you when you sleep, noisy karaoke until midnight. you see some cockroaches runing on the floor. little place for sleep for a big man like me. no free blanket you have tu rent one.But the ferry arrived before time announced.

Have to pay for updates / emails is ridiculous, you should pay extra for luxuries not basic things! Turning up at 12AM for the ferry at 2 to be told it’s delayed until 8 AM, had to pay for taxis. Actually comfy beds in super tourist class, most staff were nice and they had a show on the night, bedding and food provided. One member of staff was kissing his lips and staring at a little girl which was very disturbing. Hope they do background checks.
