We booked a combinated ticket from Koh Phangan to Surat train station. Ferry ride was comfortable (2,5h) but the minibus was very tight on place (1,5h). We had a 45min delay.

Boat trip ok. However no advance info, when booking that they changed the pier locations. Which was fine but passengers shoukd be informed before booking in case they need to make other arangements

The boat was good and very quick but the company had changed the destination without any notice. I was supposed to arrive at Tapée pier in surat thani but we arrived to donsak. And the transfer bus was charged as well (it wasn't included in the ticket). So instead of arrival at 2 PM to suratthani, i arrived around 4 PM. Luckily my flight was cancelled and i hadn't been late for it. To sum it up, i'm quite disappointed with it

If I didnt have a busted knee and had to carry my heavy suitcase up 2 flights of stairs with no help from staff (one just staring at me the whole time) then I would rate this higher. Aside from that the ferry had comfortable chairs but no aircon and the fans didn’t work. Once the ferry was moving it wasn’t bad. There was a convenience store on the ferry. I would use again if I had less luggage and my knee was ok.

Приехали на такси на пирс. В 12.30 отходит большой паром, с возможностью погрузки авто. Идёт дольше, но зато меньше качает. От Донсака есть смысл брать комплексный билет до аэропорта дальше, ехать реально далеко и долго.

De reis is goed verlopen en sneller dan verwacht.
Alleen in het busje met zoveel mensen en bagage was niet fijn.
Zaten klem op een bankje voor 1.5 uur.
Ik zou met minder mensen in een busje gaan.

Путешествие было хорошим. Паром большой и выглядит старым, но по ощущениям комфортней, чем скоростной новый Lomprayah. Много места, сиденья откидываются довольно сильно, удобно поспать. Есть магазинчик и можно бесплатно набирать горячую воду (если есть куда). Задержки в расписании были незначительные (10-15 мин)

Toilets were very dirty and not maintained on the ferry. Having to carry luggage up and down the steep stairs without any assistance was very difficult. Even on the smaller ferries like lomprayah staff assisted with baggage. The bus from Donsak to Surat Thani airport was overbooked.
Will travel with other ferry company next time.

The luggage is all dumped in the deck. When you arrive everybody is ‘fighting’ to het there belongings. Arrange a luggagecar om the wall, put i with a crane in the ship. That is much better.

The trip on the ferry was very calm and comfortable. And then I went in a mini fen to the airport and we arrived sooner, so It was great.

We were on time, the boat was nicely signed, and the connection to the airport was ready when we came to the harbour in Surat Thani. Staff waited and showed us the way / which bus.. the way to the airport took 1,5 hours we were 30 minutes earlier:) good traveling.

To many people, they even put the luggage on dek because there is to little space. Some people have to stand for 2 hours because of the little space. You can better go with the ferry seatran, they have enough sitting space in the shadow on the boat and a airconditioning room what is big enough for everybody

Pros: it’s helpful that this ticket covers the ferry and the bus. The staff are kind and informative as well when we were trying to get our tickets and figure out which pier to go to.
Cons: the ferry was 30 min late. As a result, our bus was 45 min late to the airport.
The bathroom on the ferry is maybe the worst bathroom I’ve had to use in Thailand. Sopping wet, squattie potties, no soap or toilet paper or paper towels.
There was no bathroom of course on the bus.

Return trip with Phantip. No information on the journey route - you have to go to Donsak and get a coach to the airport. Ferry was a car ferry as well as foot passenger. It was incredibly hot, no air conditioning at all. The coach trip was much better and quite comfortable. If doing it again I would definer go with Lomprayah as we did with our outbound trip - much better organised, quicker and a much more comfortable ferry journey.

We were told by a local agent that a trip from the islands to Chiang Mai is going to cost us 1900 Baht. For just 100 baht more, 12Go put together a boat and bus package to the airport including a direct flight to Chiang Mai. We cut two days of travel and hours of sitting in a bus for just $3 more. Everything was smooth, no delays or stress with the tickets. Will book again. Thank you for a good experience.
