27Jan20 -We had to wait 1h after ferry to departure of bus. Bus terminal is very hot place and service in souvenirshop/smoothiekiosk unpleasant. Bus should have left 1,30pm, but did not. I do not know why, was bus waiting for some passengers? There were some accident in road and we were 1h later at the airport. Luckily we did not miss our flight but it was very stressing situation. It is true what you say abt 5hrs time needed, we had 3hrs. +Thanks to busdriver. He did all he could to take us to airport. He gave information about situation as soon he got it and there were some thai passenger who translated it.

Misinformation alert! Booked ticket online. Says departure from Klong Son Bus at 12:00. It is actually the departure time of the FERRY!!! From the bus station there's a 5' ride to the ferry pier, plus you need 2-3 minutes to reach the boat. Our group entered the ferry 1 minute before departure and some unlucky fellas were stuck between the cars with their big suitcases. It's not pleasant under the tropical sun. In the ferry terminal we had to wait for the bus 1,5 hours. The bus ride was OK, but don't travel on Sunday, there are big traffic jams. Sidenote: DO book a taxi from your hotel, even if it's expensive, 200-300baht (from White Sand Beach). I wanted to hitch one and at least 5 of them passed me by without even asking what I wanted. That's why I was "late", arrived to bus station at 11:50.

Really good overall and would recommend. Pickup was arranged from my hotel on Ko Chang, which arrived exactly on time. Transfers onto ferry etc were smooth with minimal delays. Main bus after the ferry was comfortable, good aircon. Only comment was the bus seemed to lack trunk space for luggage as quite a lot had to be brought on board. The bathroom stops were fairly good with western-style toilets available.

we take the ticket at 12:00 a clock but the bus goes at 14:00.we waited for 2 hours in not pleasant places

The trip was canceled without notice. The next departure was 1h 45m later. attention to flight schedules. 2 stars only because I took the plane anyway, and for the excellent driver.

The bus departure was moved one hour later without prior informing us! We could have spent more time on the beach inspite of waiting in their office. The leg room is very tiny.

Meeting point was on bus station, but the instructors for that were poor... Otherwise good trip, only 5ppl in the bus. Driver was nice and drove fast but safely.

Driver was very friendly, nice clean and cool car. However we were very concerned about the dangerous driving! We asked the driver to slow down as we got scared and nearly crashed at one point. He was on the phone a lot and wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. I know he was trying to make sure we got to the airport in time so we didn’t miss our flight, but I explained that if we miss it it’s not his fault and we would rather be safe. I’d rather be late in this world than early in the next!
