I made a reservation for a direct transport from Machu picchu to Cusco. Afterwards I found out that I was assigned a bus ticket from Ollantaytambo to Cusco. The train from Machu departed on time but arrived 20 min late. The bus was okay, although they do not really support people who come with duffle bags. They do not easily fit and you might need to hold all of your bags in your seat for 2.5 hr.
