Stuart HThe whole trip went well. The pickup from the hotel was on time and the transfer to the big bus at the bus station went smoothly. Transfers through both borders was excellent and we were dropped safely at the bus station in Nong Khai. A lot of things needed to go smoothly and they did.

Salome First a minivan comes to your hotel and drop off you to a bus station
Then you will have to wait for a second big bus which will be the same one which wait for you during the two border crossings, until the Nong Khai bus station.
We arrive a bit before 5pm so it was perfect to have our night bus at 6.30pm.

Stefan KThe driver came far too early, the open vehicle was okay but I was in constant fear our luggage would drop off. In hindsight I should simply have bought the ticket myself and take a grab taxi to the bus station. More comfortable, less waiting time, much cheaper.
