We came 30 minutes before leaving Hanoi to Grouptour office. They told us to wait.
On The time they told us: there is a delay, we spoke to driver, wait. It is ok.
30 minutes after The time: they sent us to solve the situation to Daiichi Travel (there was NO bus by GroupTour).
Daiichi Travel did their best - we went to Cat Ba 2 hours later.
The same situation repeated on the way back: no bus sold by Grouptour, we went 15 minutes later with Daichiitravel.

Natalie AThey picked us up from the airport in a small car, only me and my other travel partner. Then we went to downtown Hanoi to catch the bus. Stopped at rest stop to pee/get snacks. Got on ferry and then one more bus which brought us to our Cat Ba hostel.

Nolan LGreat communication from the get go. She confirmed my booking, and also accommodated my request for different pickup and drop off. Very kind lady that genuinely wished me a well trip. Drivers made sure we arrived on time. We were even early. If wanting the fastest way to go round-trip hanoi to hai phong, I'd recommend Luxury Van Limousine.
