I had an extremely disappointing experience earlier in the week with an operator called Real Lanka Holidays. On Monday 13th me and a friend drove to Adam’s peak with them from Hiriketiya, we then confirmed with someone from the company and the driver who took us that he was going to take us back. I woke up for the hike to confused messages that the trip had been cancelled. When we spoke to someone on the phone they said that they couldn’t justify the trip back to Hiriketiya as they would lose money. It didn’t seem to matter that the driver had agreed to drive us by the time we went to sleep and they refused to give us a new price. We got a new car for just €10 more than the cost of our original journey so we feel like they chose a different driver because they charged more money for the holiday.
This experience was the opposite. I received a message well in advance saying that I was the only passenger and had two options: receive a refund or pay $30 extra. The company was far more professional for this journey and was so happy that I avoided another stressful situation trying to find another way to my destination. Unlike the other operator I felt like Tuktukdude actually cared whether I got to my destination

The driver came too late and the there was no seat anymore left. They organized an extra driver just for me which was perfect but we left 1 1/2 hours later.

A timid driver, who turned up late and was making phone calls all the time. Had to complain. No washroom-stop, no receipt for the extra-paid money, no help with my heavy luggage. Never again.

Since there is not much choice to go from Ella to Galle, I was lucky to find your service. I was expecting a van but Prius came to pick me up as there were only one another passenger, however, overall it was comfortable journey and quite satisfying.

The driver was great but to charge me 50USD more than agreed because of the fact that I was the only passenger was unprofessional by 12go. Also the first-class Support which I also booked before (and paid) played no role. If I were 12go I would simply payback the additional amount I had to cover. Instead of that, there are long discussion about who is right and who has to cover. I am not treated as a customer by your company!

Wir haben zu zweit einen Vanshuttle von Ella nach Kandy gebucht, am Abend vor der Fahrt. Noch spät in der Nacht erhielten wir die Bestätigung von Tuktukdude Leisure. Am morgen wurde auf Nachfrage sehr schnell geantwortet wie wir unseren Fahrer erkennen würden. Vermutlich hatten wir Glück, dass wir die einzigen waren, die zu diesem Zeitpunkt gebucht hatten. Denn wir wurden mit einem normalen Pkw abgeholt und waren die einzigen Gäste. Der Fahrer Tashen hat schon vor der vereinbarten Zeit am Treffpunkt gewartet und er war sehr freundlich. Die Fahrt war sehr angenehm, ohne gezwungene Unterhaltungen. Der Fahrer bot uns an einen Stopp an einem Wasserfall zu machen. Was wir dankend annahmen, um uns kurz die Beine zu vertreten.

Die Fahrt an sich war super. Aber ich habe bis einen Tag vor Abreise keine Infos bekommen ob und von wo die Fahrt los geht. Ich haber versucht Kontakt aufzunehmen und es wurde lange Zeit nicht geantwortet. Kurz vor Beginn der Reise wurde mir gesagt dass ich einen Aufschlag von 35$ zahlen muss um befördert zu werden, oder ich könnte das Ticket stornieren. Mir blieb leider nichts anderes übrig als drauf zu zahlen.
Die Fahrt war dafür aber wunderbar. Der Fahrer war sehr nett und höflich und ist angenehm gefahren.
