The boat is by the pier of the town. You can clearly see multiple boats and it has big letters stating where it’s going so it’s hard to miss.
I did go inside the boat without checking in but that’s because i didn’t see it when I went in. They let me on but someone who checked tickets did see i was missing a physical ticket which you get outside the boat. It’s usually to the left side. Just a person sitting a a table and they give you the bed number as well. Boat trip was fine. It was a bit chilly for me so I put on long sleeves. There’s a bathroom at the very end of the boat. Huge honk wakes you up when you arrive. We left Almost and hour after we were supposed to leave but we still made it on time.

Everything was well organized even we had to took like four different vans on the way. In the sleeper ferry had AC, billows and blankets. The van had also AC. The last ferry was slow boat. Long journey but doable. Take snack with you!

Das Boot hatte Betten und es war möglich bis 5 Uhr morgens zu schlafen. Dann Legte es an und wir wurden von den einzelnen Busunternehmen abgeholt. Erst wurden wir in einem Minivan ca 5 min zum Reisebüro gefahren. Dort sind wir mit einem weiteren Minivan nach 30 min losgefahren nach Ao Nang. Der Fahrer hat uns zu unseren Hotels gefahren ohne Extra Aufpreis.

Man muss die "richtigen" Karten gegen Vorlage des QR-Codes im Büro vor Ort holen. Man sollte ca. 30 Minuten vorher da sein. Bei uns hat alles gut funktioniert. Die Überfahrt war ruhig. Die Fähre ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Am Koh Tao Booking Center erhielten wir vor Abfahrt unsere Tickets für die Lomprayah Fähre und einen Voucher für den Bustransfer mit „Ramon“. Die Fahrt mit der Fähre war unproblematisch, wenn auch mit verspäteter Abfahrt.
Viel schlimmer war der anschließende Bustransfer. Das Unternehmen „Ramon“ ließ uns anderthalb Stunden am Donsak Pier in Surat Thani sitzen. (Zum Vergleich: Die Reisebusse des Reiseveranstalters Lomprayah fuhren alle in kürzester Zeit ab) Eigentlich war der Transfer zum Krabi Bus Terminal geplant. Aber auf Nachfrage bot man uns vor Ort an auch direkt zum Hotel zu fahren. Das Angebot für 150 Baht pro Person nahmen wir an. Irgendwann ging es dann endlich los. Die Fahrweise des Kleinbusfahrers war unfassbar schlecht aber dazu auch noch langsam. Der Van wurde komplett besetzt. Das Gepäck stapelte sich im Mittelgang des viel zu kleinen Vans. In Krabi nahmen wir dann nochmal weitere Fahrgäste auf. Das Ganze wirkte sehr unorganisiert und unprofessionell. Nach insgesamt 9 Stunden, anstatt der versprochenen 6 Stunden Reisedauer, trafen wir nach dieser Höllenfahrt dann endlich am Hotel ein.

Guides were great, very helpful and funny, putting people in a good mood. The only thing was there was no snorkeling because of high waves and we could have been informed of that before, the weather had been the same for 3 days..

een groot pluspunt is dat we optijd aankwamen. De bedden in de boot waren wel echt mega hard waardoor je niet echt kon slapen. Bij de boot werden we opgehaald om vervolgens ergens te wachten op de bus richting krabi. Hier werd ons aangeboden voor 100 bath naar het hotel te brengen ipv het busstation. Dit hadden we gedaan, vervolgens staan we bij het busstation en doet meneer alsof hij van niets weet..

The night ferry was a very nice experience, I have slept in my little bed with the sheet and the pillow provided (it is always cold in this case so think about), but also because it was not full (or could had been a more intense experience). There was some confusion from the transportation from the pier to the airport and we did it with an open old vehicle not a van as written, but at the end everything was on time. I could do it again

It’s just a boat to get you from a to b.. don’t put much else into it because it’s cheap. Also if it’s choppy and you sit by the window expect to get sprayed by the water.

Beds themselves were quite hard yet comfy and we got a decent sleep, we were next to the air con so a jumper was useful. Boat staff were very helpful unloading bags to the pier which was great as there were a fair few coconuts to climb over on the way off!

We were driven by the manager as it was new year and there weren’t many drivers. He was really friendly and helpful. The map is wrong on 12go. Just follow the boarding point in the email confirmation.

Die Nachtfähre ist ein Erlebnis wert. Alle sind sehr freundlich und man kann sein Gepäck früher abgeben und konnte sich noch Surat Thani Town ohne Gepäck anschauen. Denkt dran, Snacks und Getränke mitzunehmen. Kissen und dünne Decke bekommt ihr auf der Fähre.

The boat was okay, the beds were basically normal hostel beds, but from Suratthani to Krabi it was a bit shameful, especially for the price. First they took us by those trucks with benches in the back to the travel agency, we had to wait there for about 30 min, the personnel was not too kind and also didn't speak more than a few words in English. And the minivan was full, so they put me in the most uncomfortable seat, in the middle in the front, just because I am a short girl so I fit there. Also it did not have seatbelt and a headrest... They don't have the addresses which you gave to be dropped of at, so remember to remind the driver.

Der Van war total überfüllt und es gab kein Comfort( keine Beinfreiheit und eine schmale 1,40 m Person würde gut auf den Sitz passen). Der Taxifahrer war total unfreundlich. Wir wurden weit außerhalb von Krabi rausgelassen und von dort aus wollte uns der Taxifahrer überteuerte Fahrten anreden und wurde total frech als wir es abgelehnt haben. Nicht zu empfehlen!!

If you book together with your friend, they will put you in one double bed, but the problem is, it’s 1,20m wide something like that.
So you pay the same as people who sleep in a single, which is definitely better and have to squeeze in one bed.
Make sure that you say you want a single bed at the check in, before it’s too late.
All in All the boat had one hour delay in Koh Tao, but I think it doesn’t matter.

Zwar für deutsche Verhältnisse etwas unorganisiert und chaotisch. Hat aber erstaunlicherweise alles sehr gut geklappt. Schneller kommt man nicht auf die andere Insel.

We can store our luggage for free at the office. And they already checked in the tickets for us. Skip the line in the boat can sleep When you arrive, there is a car to pick you up at the pier. Some days, if there are too many people, they will leave early. get us to our destination faster

It’s very convenient to book the tickets and no need to wait in the line to check in for the tickets which is very nice. The ferry was nice for just sleeping but double bed a bit too small but it was good enough. The van take so long time to come and you have to be wait so long times. you might have to be prepared for that.

I arrived at the loprayah pier around 12:15, then we had to pick up some people at an different pier, we had to wait 1,5 hours before we could leave, then we visited all the different hotels from the passengers on the way wat costed us another hour, we could have arrived around 15:00 at the van station but it was 18:00 in stead

The ferry left in time and it arrived in Surat Thani on time so it was great! The van ride was 1h late and we stopped 2 times in a 3-4h ride. I think 1 stop is enough but it was nice to stretch our legs and pick something to eat. Overall the whole trip was good for the price!

Went from Koh Tao to Khao Sok. The ferry went very well. The bus thoughdid seem very dodgy and was like a couple of hours late, stopped about 2-3 times in the middle of nowhere, the driver just got out and we were hearing weird noises as if the bus broke down. The driver wasn’t friendly and just didn’t tell us what was going on. Apart from that not too bad.

Taxi driver was unkind and drove very rough and speedy. With reckless overtakes. Didn't help with the bags.

The speedboat from Koh Tao to Surat Thani was GREAT! Fast and efficient! Staff helpful and kind! The van ride from Surat Thani to Kaoh Sok was horrible. We payed the bus station 300b extra to take us directly to our hotel. The van was hot and cramped, the driver stopped 4 times to go into random stores and pee on the side of the road. Drove an hour past our hotel and said he wouldnt take us back we could pay a taxi 1200b to take us. Total nightmare.

The route wasn't explained: type of boat, duration of the crossing, and type of bus. We waited a long time in an old bus for another boat to arrive, without anyone offering us any assistance, and people who arrived much later left before us in more comfortable conditions. As a result, we had difficulty getting a connection for the rest of the journey.

"The ferry was old but still solid. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the ferry departed 15 minutes late, but that seems to be normal. One downside was that the price at the port was 100 THB cheaper."

At the pier on Koh Samui we didn't have any shade or place to sit while we were waiting. We had to be 30min standing on the sun.

Everything worked out great, and we were well guided. Only thing I missed was a detailed information beforehand where and when we change vehicle, and how long the waiting time is.

Unfortunately we arrived over 1 Hour Late because the car Operator made a pre-planned stop at its own Break-station, staying there unnecessarily long, which was unfortunately because we missed a pre-booked tour we had arranged for the time after our arrival. At the Break station they also wanted to have 50BHT/Person to get them to their Hotel in Khao Sok. Besides that, everything went Well and the Operator was nice and helpful.
