They were great. I really recommend Daiichi. In Hanoi they have a sitting area above their office where you can wait for your bus, drink water, go to the toilet, and lock your stuff. The busses were great and on time. But pay attention - there are no usb spots in the busses so you can't charge your phone. They stop in a great and clean location for 20 minutes.

It was clearly explained in the bus how long it the journey lasted with bus stop, ferry en drive on island. Drop off at hotel and bus was driving pretty safe

Mostly good organized and quick trip. It would be better if they just make a meeting point for all guests in old town instead of picking every single one up at the hotel with the whole bus which takes way to much time. The bus was comfy enough for the 4 hour ride. Would book again though because there were no complications at all and the personel was very friendly.

Beds / cabins were fine as advertised but they didn't offer a pillow which was kind of uncomfortable. The buttons to adjust the bed didn't work and staff was not very accomodating / kind of rude. Arrived 3 hours later than advertised (which was to be expected, as you cannot go from Ha Giang to Hanoi in 3 hours). In the end it was fine, but manage your expectations I guess...

The ride was good, we had a little delay from Hanoi because the bus had to pick up some people at the city. But all in all, the trip was good!
